GO GO WHITE SOX, FINALLY WIN

I'm on the verge of one. I can't believe this. I'm so hardcore that I just sat there with my jaw hanging open when Uribe fired that last bullet to Konerko. Slowly a smile crossed my face and finally today it's kinda sinking in. I was driving south on Lake Shore Drive right around North Ave. and I was looking at the skyline and all I could think was, "What an incredibley beautiful city."

This team was SO southside and something 'you and I and others like us' could relate to. Nearly every player had been cast off from another team and regarded as hopeless and the press was COMPLETELY against them all year - ESPECIALLY in Chicago. They won because of heart, a common goal and really huge 'stones'. I wouldn't be surprized to see Ozzie Guillen riding Sharatz in the parade ;-)
