This isn’t about sinking the nomination—Bush knows how they feel and he isn’t going to budge. Even if he wanted to he can’t now, because he’d be accused of being ruled by an ultra conservative clique.

This isn’t about sinking the nomination—Bush knows how they feel and he isn’t going to budge. There are other ways to end the nomination than just Bush pulling it back. Bush is putting all the heat he can on the senators to make sure she is confirmed.
Conservative Americans are replying by letting the senate know that it is ok to reject her. If Bush goes to war against conservatives, he will lose. The liberals will always hate him no matter what he does. He is already the most fiscal liberal president ever and they still hate him and accuse him of trying to starve people.

I can't stand Frum, Coulter or Lowry. They are the Conservative equivalent to Micheal Moore and Al Franken. Every time I see one of them on TV I turn the channel.
I haven't read or watched Coulter since she said we should carpet bomb the mid-east and force the survivors into Christianity - (she has some fine Christian values/sarcasm).
