That comment is bookmarked and I'm quite positive that little bitter Annie girl will indeed find something else to complain about.

It would be incomprehensible that she would go from calling the president a drunk and calling for his impeachment to full support. Unless she's bipolar.

So rather than have a new conservative justice that the president trusts, the conservatives are jumping for joy at the prospect of having decisions with O'Connor being the swing vote.

Better than having a stealth candidate for a lifetime. If you're angry, let the president know about all the time he wasted.

Pres Bush did not ask her to withdraw and neither did anyone I personally know

I never said he did

IMO .... She withdrew because of the no stop borking that she received

That is something the liberals do .. Not Republicans

Since you seem to need to have it, the last word is yours.

yw, BQ. She was on Fox a bit earlier and on Sean's program today, too; I only caught a part of it, but, the part I heard, she was saying pretty much what's in this column.

I find it amusing that those who consistently treat politics like a game (blindly cheering on "their team" simply because they wear the right colors) are now the first ones to consider leaving the party after they lose one battle.

Outstanding.

I have had it

I'm with you there.....

Payback will come this time. I'm still pissed that they stayed home when Dole ran.

They can't be trusted, and will be looking for another Ross Perot when they don't like what the RNC puts up. It will be then that the crap hits the fan and these idiots will understand what they have done in 2005. In fact, I suspect we will see it in 2006. It may be a done deal.

Then you don't deal with a lot of youth - they tend to get resaved every time they go on a retreat or to a conference.
This should not be news to you if you are truly on the front lines of spreading the gospel. Many Christian writers have covered the subject such as Hank Hannagraaf in "Christianity in Crisis".
Also, this means you've never been to a Church of God church as being saved multiple times is not discouraged.

You are referring to Charsmatic churches, not churches of Christ/Christian Churches. Yes, I am very aware of the problems in their churches.

I second that nomination! Her credentials are solid.

Let's see them try to filibuster an African-American woman.

You really think you can get the likes of Snow or Collins voted out of office???

Why would anyone want to? They are probably the most conservative candidates that can realistically be elected in their states. The same with Chafee. They aren't very reliable, but they are a lot better than a full blown communist democrat that would take their place.

The problem is with the red state RINOs like Lindsey Graham. There is no reason why he should be able to behave the way he does being from a conservative state. Somehow he gets a pass though. McCain is another problem.

If the GOP would get serious about replacing moderates from red states, then they'd be ok.

And now a word from our real Sponsors of Free Speech

The Men and Women who serve,
and have served, our country
are the ones who make sure that
the Politicans and Judges are free to do their job.

We would not have a US Supreme Court
without the protection of the Military.

Politicans and Judges are safe
because of the Military who protect them.

TEST : Call your Senator or Congressman's office
AFTER 5 PM, or on the weekend.
IF you speak to an actual person, ask who's in charge today?

Now look up the phone number
of your local military base.
Call that number 24/7
and ask the live voice you get
to speak with the person in charge.

Send a Thank You while you enjoy your Freedom also.

For whatever reason he nominated her, I don't think she was thoroughly vetted from some of the info that came out this week.

That looks like the case to me too, PhiKap. The info that just came out was devastating.

The document cover looks like it was the agreed upon 'way out.' And I'm in agreement that the President will go with one of the short-list bonafides.

Much prayer continues to go up for this nomination. I truly believe that it's the most important decision he will make in his 8 years, outside of the WoT.

And thanks for verifying that I'm not in lockstep. It gets tiring defending myself against that constant false charge. Makes me kinda mad, if you know what I mean......

Well .. while listening to Hannity, Ann and Brett ... they are now claiming to not be republicans .. they are "conservatives"

They want to join the likes of Pat Buchanan ... fine .. Go!
