You have to listen today. Reid just invoked Rule 21 in Congress calling for a closed hearing on Libby indictment investigation.
Lott and Frist are heated.

Lott says they want to force completion on hearings on the runup to the war, which is ongoing anyway. That's what Levin and Durbin were saying. "We have it in writing" said Levin.
Is the closed session still going on while they are speaking?
On the floor Reid launched into his sixteenth grandkid being born, worried about the future... Voinovich without the tears. He said they still didn't know what they wanted to know from Fitz invest. and they've been waiting for Roberts intelligence report to be finished. WH bashing...blah... Libby, national security.... danger... danger.... blah , then he invoked Rule 21 to close the senate. It was unbelievable. My friend at TPT should be getting the vid up now.
I THINK that the session is going on between the leadership. Clearly, the whole Senate doesn't have to be there because Lott is on with Sean.
Santorum said the dems will do anything to avoid cutting spending... ROFL

Why do Republicans really care if the Senate operates in closed session? I don't. I'd just laugh at 'em and say, fine, you still aren't gonna get your way.

LOL! That one is certainly out of the realm of possibility! The Senate is a useless organization regardless of who leads it. The Senate should be eliminated (just kidding!). The Senate reminds me of British monarchy. Nice to look at and it is tradition, but each is useless.
I hate I missed Frist and Lott. I won't believe it till I see it with my own eyes!

Ok Trent & Bill just what action are you going to take to stop it. You guys are in the majority, hell one of you is the leader of the majority and the other the former leader. The dems have just publicly called both of you out. Time for talk is over, take action. No compromise, no back room meetings--action. Show them the same respect and courtesy that has been shown to you--none! Go on the offensive and stop reacting, it only reinforces your weak image.
