Anti-Christian Liberals Union denies war on christmas
ACLU ^

Posted on 12/10/2005 3:58:25 PM PST by Rethgryn

There is nothing I hate more than political correctness or the ACLU so I'm fully supportive of the boycott but I was sent this in an email from my brother (the liberal in the family) and I wasn't sure how to answer it. I was expecting some feeble antichristian defense about diversity or some other liberal BS but this looks like an outright denial that there is any effort against Christmas at all at all. What do you think?

I believe many have taken the war on Christmas fear too far, extending it to every business that chooses to say Holiday or Hanukkah instead of Christmas, HOWEVER, the ACLU has a history of trying to remove any majority religion from public site and their letter is laughable considering the source. They are trying to turn freedom OF religion into freedom FROM religion.

Oh, boohoo, catch this bit: "For example, the Alliance Defense Fund celebrates the season with an "It's OK to say Merry Christmas" campaign, implying that the ACLU has..."

I don't recall anyone saying the ACLU was trying to stop saying "Merry Christmas," and it's not implied in what he quoted. (And they are charging $$$ for pins--so what? The ACLU may be able to survive on donations from evil capitalists, but most of us offer goods or services to get by.)

This butterhead is taking the usual lib whining victim pose. The ACLU regularly sues over creches and displays around Christmas and this twit knows it. THAT is why the ACLU is frequently mentioned in these kinds of stories--because they are the most prominent organization involved in enforcing a secular celebration of a religious holiday.

When a liberal knows he has no argument, he effortlessly takes the victim pose.

Bill Press also has a book out that claims it is Republicans who are ruining Chistmas for everybody. I'm sure you've heard of it.

What can you say to someone who is living in another world than ours. They are blinded by their bias,

"So, as often as we can, ACLU secures justice for those folks who Jesus worried for the most. "

No doubt Jesus worries more for Tookie Williams' victims than Williams. The ACLU hasn't lifted a finger to help the victim's families.

ACLU SpokesNerd Fran Quigley is lying through his ugly shyster teeth.

The ACLU is virulently anti-Christian.

After the ACLU gets done with its ceaseless anti-Christian litigation religious persecution, this is how "A Christmas Carol" will be legally performed:

Looks like your right to me. They must live in the same fantasy world as the defeatacrats. They must think they can do or say things and then turn around and claim that we're all crazy, we didn't see or hear them do anything.

The war isn't against Christmas, it is against Christianity. Rebels without a cause who have become older and continue to buck against 'the system.'

21 Ways to be A good ''liberal'' democrat

1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on
demand.

2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments
create prosperity.

3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are
more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of
Chinese and North Korean communists.

4. You have to believe that there was no art before Federal funding.

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by
cyclical documented changes in the earth's climate and more affected by
soccer moms driving SUV's.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual
is natural.

7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal
funding.

8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how
to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony
activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do.

10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually
doing something to earn it.

11. You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money
to make The Passion Of The Christ for financial gain only.

12. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of
the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts
of the Constitution.

13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more
important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Gen. Robert E. Lee, and
Thomas Edison.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial
quotas and set-asides are not.

16. You have to believe that Hillary Clinton is normal and is a very nice
person.

17. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked
anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.

18. You have to believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but
a liar and a sex offender belonged in the White House.

19. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag,
transvestites, and bestiality should be constitutionally protected, and
manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

20. You have to believe that illegal Democratic Party funding by the Chinese
Government is somehow in the best interest to the United States.
.
21. You have to believe that this message is a part of a vast, right wing
conspiracy.

Tonight as I was driving home from Cape Cod I went through 2 town centers that had Christmas displays including Creches with the baby Jesus.

I smiled and in the spirit of season did not startle my wife with "Up Yours ACLU!"

"By protecting the freedom of Muslims, Jews, and other non-Christians through preventing government entanglement with religion, the ACLU is somehow infringing on the rights of those with majority religious beliefs."

INDEED, THEY ARE!

Most of those representing the ACLU are Orthodox Jews....meaning that they don't recognize Jesus as the Messiah and, therefore, Christians shouldn't be allowed to worship Him, either.
