Bahrain: Where Allah cannot see. Loophole in the Koran?!
Muslims Ransack Oakland Stores and Official Tom Green Road Trip ^

Posted on 12/12/2005 6:40:32 PM PST by Beowulf9

"...about the lifestyles of the Muslim elite. Have you ever been to Bahrain, the wonderful island with casinos and liquor and available women? A friend of mine who is an Air Force officer stationed in that part of the world once asked a Muslim business man why they can get away with all of that in this one spot. The guy winked and pointed to a mountain and said something like “Allah cannot see over that mountain!” I am not making this up!" http://bareknucklepolitics.com/?p=332

"Bahrain is, in a sense, the Las Vegas of The Middle East. Muslims say that a black cloud hangs over Bahrain that Allah cannot see through. Because of this, alcohol is allowed. (It is prohibited in most Muslim countries). Apparently they found a loophole in the Koran. It is a city filled with Saudi Arabian Sheiks who essentially come to party". http://www.tomgreen.com/uso.php

Bahrain has seen its day. Dubai is where it's at. Better restaurants, hotels, shopping, and nightclubs. Multiple stops in both and Dubai gets my vote.

If they think Bahrain is good or bad, they should go to Dubai.

I used to live in Bahrain. I don't know about Allah not being able to see them but the Saudis did come over to party. I was a physiotherapist there and you should have seen the fancy outfits under the black robes. Spiked heels and all.

Hey, thanks for the joke! I told it and got a good response.

Here's two for you.

Did you here about the Muslim strip club? It features full facial nudity.

This one I made up, so technically you don't have to laugh. I'm no stand up comic.

Did you hear about Michael Jackson? The good news is he's moved to Bahrain. The bad news is he's building a Disneyland there.

LOL. Just go to Vegas. It has been well documented that the Princes of the House of Saud make regular stops. And their private planes are above the law. God only knows what comes off and what goes on...

The Jumeirah Beach Resort is awesome. Outstanding rooms, great pool, good beach, the best underused fitness center I've ever seen. Awesome restaurants, too.Favorite nightclub, Irish Village due to its proximity to the Emirates Airlines flight attendant training center

Favorite restaurant, the Alamo at the Dubai Marine Club. Eerily great tex mex food, although their midget is taller than the one at Pancho Villa's.

Favorite Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Resort.

Muslims say that a black cloud hangs over Bahrain that Allah cannot see through.

Hmmmm. So a CLOUD can block Allah's vision? That may come in handy.

yeah, but they can just drive the Mercedes over to Bahrain. Besides, Bahrain is a bit more laid back than Dubai, so it's much less visible (and I ain't talking about Allah...)

I worked with Vinnell from 1996 to 1999. It was illegal to date, no matter who. And there were many other strange customs for us. Reference to Bahrain, this is where the Matawa, (religious police) go for partying....Then back to Saudi to enforce the Koran.... A real gimmick they have...

In 1991 my DH spent a few weeks as a civilian in Saudi Arabia.

In 1980-81, I spent a year there, courtesy of the US Army. Wasn't any different then.
