I am not an alum. My daughter still has her TT cowbell she took to games and uses it watching games at home at times.
I have 4 immediate family grads and 4 inlaw grads of TT..

I have to tell them I am a "regional" supporter when Texas teams play out of state teams. Some don't yell for Texas or the Aggies under any circumstances(That they would admit to, anyway). ;)

Nonsense. If you had the choice you'd rather ahead at the half. But it really doesn't matter. USC had an opportunity to take UT out of this game early after the Texas fumble and couldn't do it.

Not what you said... anyway... the ball WAS caught. He had control until he hit the ground.

"What a PATHETIC performance. USC's band SUCKS big time!!!"

The band is not nearly as bad as the off key singing prior to the kick off.

My hubby just said the same thing about that lame Fleetwood Mac song.

I like the way he thinks. You must be a lucky woman.:)

Didn't a knee touching the ground used to be a college down as well, even if not tackled?

In addition, the CEO's at Halliburton have all bet on the game becaue they already know the final score.

Well those Diebolt scoring machines are rigged.

are they ever going to call holding on SC?

The answer is no. And the media will continue to bemoan that Vince's knee was down, thus the t.d. shouldn't have happened. It was a bad call, but so was the fact Kelson's interception wasn't deemed valid, but called incomplete for the same reason. The refs didn't chose to review either play and neither team called timeouts insisting they do so.

AND I'M SICK TO DEATH OF THIS BEING CALLED A FRIGGIN' THREE-PEAT! ASK LSU, WHO WON THE BCS CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY IN 2004 IF THEY THINK THE MEDIA HAS RE-WRITTEN HISTORY. THIS IS USC'S 2ND TRY AT A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND I'M SICK OF THE LIES.

Where are you reading from? I've seen a lot of games, and the refs have made this same call at least 10 times in games I've seen. So I guess I just imaging things?

If I had a choice, I'd rather have Pete Carroll coaching my team down by 6 at the half rather than Mack Brown coaching them up by 6.

Yeah, no kidding.

USC can win if they stay with the nickel and dime drives. It is going for the big plays that are killing them, but UT can't seem to stop them for 3 downs with the run/screen mix and short passes.

Hopefully they won't. But if Texas can get away from their sloppiness they can run with them and hold them off, especially if they win the game of field position. Which requires a long successful first drive at the start of the 3rd.

yeah...

since he tucked the ball while he was in the air, that's what is called a "football like move".

It's incomplete now.

old news.

If you liked the first half, you're gonna love the second half. TEXAS is a STRONG second half team. They always come back BIG in the second half.

The UT band should waste the USC band. That was really bad.

I give up. You people are too dense. If he hits the ground simultaneously with dropping it, it's incomplete.
