I don't know the reasoning....if any...in professional pumping of gas. When I was in Oregon the guy cleaned the windshield, checked the oil and eyeballed the tires. I guess you could say it was a maintenance/safety appraisal.

I know of many people who love full service stations. I guess that when I'm 80, I'll think the same way.

Chuckie Gladstone...LOL (Although Schumer went to law school, he's never practiced a day in his life.......yet here he is castigating and lecturing an experienced judge.)

The Constitution DOES NOT SAY THERE IS A RIGHT TO ABORTION.

Sorry for the caps, but I am truly sick of hearing about abortion.

LOL! Just googled Gladstone Gander, and I think you've nailed it! One quibble -- GG's hairline hasn't receded nearly as much as upChuck's.

I just bring my husband with me and he pumps it and checks the tires. It's sort of like full service.

My word...has Schumer even taken a breathe yet?

If Schumer represents the best the DEMs can bring, Alito will do just fine. On the one hand, Schumer says a SCOTUS justice makes decision (opening sentences) that all Americans must abide by and that no other branch can reverse, later on he asks rhetorically whether Alito will respect the power of Congress to make decisions. LOL. Make up your mind, Chuckie.

Sierra Club is running anti-Alito radio spots in Maine - with the pitch being to call Snowe and Collins and urge them to vote against confirmation.

Cornyn up. Alito is doing a great job in the face shots. So is his wife, who just keeps a very pleasant look on her face and appears quite dignified. Our guys are doing a good job of carrying the buckets.

"Isn't awful how bad the economy has been under Bush???"

Hey there. 4.9% of the nation still isn't working. This is the worst economy since Hoover.
