Day 3: Questioning Continues
This morning, Round 1 concludes with Senators on the Judiciary Cmte. who did not question nominee Alito yesterday. During Round 2, questioning is limited to 20 minutes for each of the eight- een senators. Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA) leads off, followed by the others, alternating by party in order of seniority.

Schumer on Fox...he doesn't know anything about Mrs. Alito leaving. But, the hearings have been very fair. The hearing have been as fair and honest as a Stalinist show trial. Except in Stalin's "trials" the defendants didn't turn the tables on the court and make every one of the judges look like an absolute fool.

Surfed over to CNN and caught the end tail of Blitzer's show, he kinda agreed the dems would catch flack over Mrs. Alito, this will not go over too well with the public! That's precisely the reaction I predicted earlier in a post. I am so sorry she's had to experience two days of hell but her reaction almost makes it worth it for our side and just perhaps some who were fence sitting on whether to vote for Alito.
