All day I considered losing my anonymity to post this, but it's too important to let it go. I have seen that Freepers are an extremely supportive bunch, so I knew this was a good idea.
My brother has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and it is has been in the single digits/teens in CT since yesterday. My brother left home without his wallet, carrying just a backpack. He said he was going for a walk and never returned. My family and I are worried SICK.
We need all the prayer we can get. Pray that my younger brother decides to come home and in the meantime that he is safe.

Even though your brother has those problems, he still can manage, you know..so hope for the best.
Being this is so urgent, I'd hope that FR could run this in the main forum for a few hours this evening. Maybe even put it in one of the sidebars.

We're hoping for the best. Tomorrow we will find out from the bank if he took money out before he left, since he left his ATM card at home. He's threatened suicide in the past, so we're scared of the worst, but still holding on to hope.
Beacon Falls, which is a few towns south of Waterbury. There's a train station there, so we're thinking he may have gotten on a train.
O Lord,
Be with David,
and keep him safe while he deals with whatever it is that has kept him away from home.
Strengthen his family as they cope with their fears and concerns during this time,
and send them the peace that comes from you.
