Not anymore.

I lost something for pro ball when Landry was done like that. Guess that's when I realized it's all just a business - not a "game". I prefer college ball nowadays.
Tom Landry remained a class act til the day he died. Have you seen Landry Fan's web page?

I thought the commercial was hilarious! i have tried to get out to the aisle on a plane too and that can happen! It was an innocent commercial. Yeesh.

I think it's hilarious too! Happend to me once on a redeye flight between Salt Lake City and San Diego, horrible turbulance near the mountains, big fat guy was sitting in the aisle seat, I get up to go to the lavatory and we hit a pocket of turbulance and my unclenched fist jabs the guy in the face.

Heard a radio segment the other day with Frank Caliendo doing John Madden....he was saying that Madden was the only guy he knew that could say absolutely nothing, and people think it's genius (Billy-boy excluded)...

John Madden voice..."See the quarterback drops back, and then this receiver guy doesn't have anybody covering him, and if the quarterback throws and the receiver catches, well, that's gonna be a big gain everytime...."

When you check in shoot for a better seat. They hang onto some for different reasons. Bulkheads for handicapped.

Bulheads are the best since no one is in front of you. Next, ask for Exit Row -- many times those have to be done at the airport.

Make the request when you check in. It never hurts to ask.

I fly every week and have over a million miles. I know of what I speak.

I hate to talk music during a football thread, but Cobain certainly was a musical genius. He shaped rock n' roll into something new, something that was desperately needed after 20 years of bland hair bands. He is Gen-X's John Lennon.

Well there was plenty of chatter about the Rolling Stones earlier in the thread so I guess it's on topic. Agree with you on Kurt Cobain. Rock music was a wasteland of hair bands when Nirvana came on the scene. Changed everything. All of a sudden we had Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, and lots of other decent bands to listen to for a while. Now rock music is back in a rut again and we need another trend-setting band like Nirvana to come along.

Back to the game, I'm hoping that Seattle can pull it off because Matt Hasselback is a local guy and I work with somebody who went to school with him. Don't have much love for the Steelers and I admit to being a tad bit annoyed with the cameras constantly panning to Jerome Bettis' family be-bopping in the stands everytime he makes a 2-yard run.

Ben's playing is making me nervous. He's looking more like last year's playoff games than this year's.

Sprint. Songs for everything (ring tones). I've seen this one. Plays Keystone Kops type music for couch catching on fire. (Benny Hill?) Dumb.

Jack in the Box! Love all their commercials, except the new stoner one where he tells the stoned dude to buy 30 tacos and stoner said that's exactly how many he was thinking.

Ford Mustang. Missed the first part.

Now the regular first paycheck one with the Mary Tyler Moore theme music. Chase Bank. Doesn't make sense.

"If you can drive someplace in 5-hours rather than fly, you are probably better off."

Taking first trip overseas in April. Wish I could drive because I hate to fly. I even checked taking the QE II, but it was way too expensive.

the intent of the commercial was to create the impression that the couple was caught having sex in the seat, even thought they weren't.

Parker, Herndon Set Super Bowl Records

DETROIT - Willie Parker of Pittsburgh and Kelly Herndon of Seattle set Super Bowl records for long plays in the third quarter Sunday.

Parker ran 75 yards for a touchdown on the second play of the second half, 1 yard longer than Marcus Allen's touchdown run for the Los Angeles Raiders against Washington in 1984.

Parker's run put the Steelers up 14-3.

With the Steelers apparently driving for another score, Herndon stepped in front of Cedrick Wilson at the Seattle 4, grabbed the pass thrown by Ben Roethlisberger and returned it 76 yards to the Steelers' 20. Seattle scored three plays later to make it 14-10.

Herndon's return was 1 yard longer than Willie Brown's interception return for a touchdown against Minnesota in 1977.

Parker, the Steelers' leading rusher this season with 1,202 yards, was limited to 11 yards on six carries in the first half. But coach Bill Cowher said at halftime the Steelers had to stay with the run, and they did so by getting Parker free on a second-and-10 play.

Parker was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Steelers as a rookie in 2004 on the recommendation of scout Dan Rooney Jr., the son of team chairman Dan Rooney.
