Normally I would agree with you, but were talking Charlie Daniels here! you want to go after some sissy that has never even done a uso tour? Better go get some better mouthwash than that you peddle....I have the utmost respect for Charlie Daniels because he walks the walk, more than he talks the talk. Sniff around a little, go after some left wing wacko if you need to but check out Charlie Daniels record, and then I'd advise some decaff coffee for you.

So? Charlie Daniels does not say a word about a good conservative proposal in the Senate by two good conservatives, Kyl/Cornyn, that would help solve the problem.

Kyl/Cornyn is out of sight, out of mind, when it should not be.

You said what needed saying better than I could have. MNjohnnie's homepage makes it seem like he's got his head on straight, but this reply#3 makes me doubt it.

I met and interviewed Charlie Danielsway back in the early '80s, and we talked extnesively then about his song "Still In Saigon." He was a true patriot when it wasn't cool or fashionable and he's never faltered.

I am not a country music fan (love bluegrass) but this man can make a fiddle smoke.

Anyway, forget his musical talents, he's a bright man and a dedicated patriot.

I am going to try to get in touch with his publicist and ask him to run for Sen. Bill Frist's seat.
