'Invaded,' sound like the US attacked a sovereign Nation."
Don't mind MNJohnnie. He's a DU regular doing his best to incite division in the conservative ranks over here. Sometimes he gets confused which party line to spout.
Typical mindless punk behavior by a DU Regular L.I.E. Don't you love how these DU trolls like LIE here think they are being so clever with their signons?
Don't mind LIE, he calls everyone a DUer cause he thinks that provides credibity to his Leftist's drivel. He is just another stoodge from the Losertarian party trying desperatly to actually win 1% of the vote in an election some day. They think if they "inflitrate" the Conservatives they can cause enough dissention to split 1% of the Conservative vote into the Losertarian party.
Keep it up LIE maybe in 30 years or so you Losers, if you keep at it, you MIGHT actually break the 1% barrier of Total Political Irrelvency to reach Complete Political Irrelevence.

The US worked very hard to get the UN campus actually located on US soil. There was a very good reason for this. It may be a good idea to get the US out of the UN, but it's useful to have the UN campus inside the US.

I really dont like the UN myself. I think they are ran by communists that are as corrupt as any other countries politicians. With that said, I dont believe the UN can be abolished by the USA, without harming our credibility.Abolished? Just withdraw our financial support. Let the rest of the world fund this group of crooks. Without US money the whole scam would crash and burn.

Oh, the agony of recovering from a jab from your sharp wit! It is a long and tedious process, healing from attack by a Silly-Putty-wielding orator like yourself.

"Be that as it may, what nation in its right mind would surrender even a scintilla of its sovereignty to a group as loathsome as the member states of the U.N.?"
Yes. Even asking a nation to do such a thing reveals extreme arrogance and a host of other odd traits. Sadly, we only have to look around to see many nations are not playing with a full deck...

Little political advice for you LIE. When you have dug yourself into a hole, stop digging. Digging deeper will not help

Be that as it may, what nation in its right mind would surrender even a scintilla of its sovereignty to a group as loathsome as the member states of the U.N.? I would sooner trust the Mafia to call the shots. You think Im indulging in hyperbole? At least I have no reason to think that, for all their faults, the Costa Nostra hates America. I mean, consider that among the regimes having votes are the likes of Cuba, China, the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (North Korea to you), Laos, Cambodia, Rwanda, Myanmar, Sudan, Uganda, and two dozen Muslim-dominated dictatorships running the gamut from Bahrain to Yemen. And thats not even counting France..
Bravo!
Thanks for the ping.
