I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.

Just wanted to post that this is the worst Oscar telecast I've ever seen. Jon Stewart is totally bombing!! And I mean totally. He isn't funny, boy what flop sweat. Ben Stiller wasn't even funny - thank the lord for Dolly.
I'm wondering now if Jon is going to end up WORSE than Whoppi (which would be hard).
And the music playing over Clooney? LOL
It's our own 'cute' way of boycotting.

Funny you should mention that. I was reading a history on Edger Allen Poe, and
that was brought up many times. EAP was raised by a family in Richmond
that made him aware of that very fact.
