Slobodan Milosevic Found Dead in His Cell

Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslav leader who orchestrated the Balkan wars of the 1990s and was on trial for war crimes, was found dead in his prison cell at the U.N. detention center near The Hague, the U.N. tribunal said Saturday. He was 65.

Fox News said he appeared to have died from natural causes. One reporter mentioned Milosevic had a history of heart problems.

Yeah, it's gratifying to see from the responses on this thread that most people recognize Milosevic for who he really was. I know there's no point in trying to engage with people like joan. But occasionally people coming new to the subject will see one of their posts about how all the corpses were really papier-mache, Slobodan Milosevic was really on America's side, and Sarajevo was a hotbed of Al Qaeda 13-year-olds who need to be put out of action, and since they don't know the situation well and trust others, they might take them seriously.

That you posted a photo of human remains does not prove that Serbs killed "7000 kids and old men in Srebrenica". These remains can be of the Serbs murdered by Mujaheddins or indeed some Mujaheddins killed in a battle.

They had a large army there - there is no distinguisshing those who die in battle from those who may have been POWs shot.

BS. It is like I -as a German- would say that Auschwitz was a hoax. Auschwitz is a nameless crime that was - just like Srebrenica - for sure reality. No matter if we like it or not.
