Just wondering, could this be bumped to Front Page or Breaking for a couple hours?

There will be FReepers under the gun from these storms for a while yet tonight....

Thanks....

I'm sick but I went out to do some things in the yard. It's 83 in Tulsa area and extremely muggy. Dry line is west of us. We're under a tornado watch but the pattern is that our weather gets nastier as it exits OK and runs the line between Arkansas and Missouri northeastward.

Keep an eye on the sky instead of listening for the siren.

We're getting tagged here just north of KC. My line of site broadband is still pinging away, though. Back yard is a lake.

Have they upgraded to Teletype or are they still using full-duplex Morse code?

Air is like soup and the wind is odd. There are cold and warm pockets of air rising and falling--I went out in shorts and it felt like swimming in the pool at beginning of the season, only this is the air currents rather than water.

MOgirl, I have a brother in Crestwood and a sister/brother-in-law and a nephew/wife/baby in St. Peters. Any problems in those areas?

Head's up everyone....

That's the last thing you want to do in case of bad weather. :)

The best thing you want to do is "HUNKER DOWN!"... or "BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES!".

:)

I'd believe it.

I've been watching the radar and just waiting for the FR thread, but there wasn't one.

There were 13 MO counties under a tornado warning about 3 hours ago. Thankfully it's died down a bit....

Rain and wind starting up here in Overland Park, KS (suburb of KC). We are still under a tornado watch and more active weather is on its way. The sirens have sounded twice today - don't ever remember that happening before. My sister in Lake St. Louis is waiting for what we had earlier. Hope everyone in MO and elsewhere is OK.
