With all due respect- I deserve some answers- so do the troops who are watching this, another Canteen drama, unfold.
If there is nothing to hide we can all chill out and have some brews, I will buy. Deal?
(((hugs)))...hi. Thank you and God bless you for those kind words. We are having a good time. He and his Dad are vegging out in front of the TV watching "House"! LOL! That is the kind of visit he likes to make to home. Wifey has an inner-ear infection and is feeling dizzy most of the time, bless her heart.
Welcome to the Canteen, Choose. Thanks for sharing your pic.
A boy and his dog.
My high school band was in that movie.
I was sick day and missed being in the movies.
Attack of the killer tomatoes.
Some of my friends wanted to go down to Jack Murphy Stadium for the cattle call. We went to the beach instead.
My God really dose Love and watch out for me.
So many bad movies, so little time! Lol!
I have to get better at sitting around watching the tv. To heck with the chores!
(Snicker)
Welcome to the Canteen, Maceman.
I didn't even know there were Oklahoma threads. Unless you are talking about the State Forums. I guess this thread was kind of a frivilous place to post it, but it is for the 19th and I needed to do it.
Anne Francis was indeed a hottie. Bet she doesn't look like this now?
Let the troops relax, it does them a lot of good.
***I remember the one about the "hand"**
Just a reminder, I am not refering to the Peter Lorie film BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS which was a good film.
Yuck! I hope she is feeling better soon. Veggin with moms and pops is always good. :] Enjoy Luv. HUGS~
I'm pretty sure they made at least 3 of them.

Keep A Low Profile

The National Weather Service advises that if you're ever caught out in the open during a severe lightning storm, you should kneel down, bend forward, and put your hands on your knees. Then, if lightning strikes nearby, your body will be less likely to serve as a conductor. Maximum safety depends on keeping a low physical profile.
The same applies to Christians caught in life's stormswe must assume a low spiritual posture. This means we must humble ourselves before the Lord (Psalm 34:18), be-cause pride and rebellion can harden us. We must speak truthfully (v.13), depart from evil, do good, and seek peace (v.14). Our heavenly Father wants us to stay close to Him when our hearts are hurting so He can impart His renewing strength and healing love.
Yes, we'll get drenched in the driving rains of adversity, and sometimes its fierce winds will buffet us so severely that we'll almost be swept off our feet. With each blinding flash of lightning we may be strongly tempted to get up and run. But keeping a low spiritual profile of humility and fear of God is the surest and safest way to weather the storm. David assured us that those who trust God in life's storms will not be condemned (v.22). Dennis De Haan
God doesn't shield us from life's storms; He shelters us in life's storms.
Welcome to the Canteen. Thanks for sharing your "favorite".
I hope she is better soon too. They fly back Friday morning and it's not going to be fun.
