A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are, God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

BLESS THIS HOUSE
 Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Not the 1st Blues Brothers movie? One of my favs!
Now the second one was a stinker, I will admit.
Not the 1st one, though!
Do you not love the blues?

Then you have sentimental ties there. I hope you get back there Luv. I had a hard time leaving the place where my sons were born in PA to move here. Our kids are our lives- aren't they? Those silly gooses! ;]

Death Race 2000 (1975) is a cult classic that also had a then unknown Sylvester Stallone as a mobster type racer. The object of the race was to hit as many pedestrians as you could to score points. The racers' fans would try to get their favorite racer to run them over.

The worst movie I ever saw was The Scent of a Woman. I hated that movie.

"MASH"...huh. Agreed.

I'll raise you one, "Apocalypse Now". Great cast, based on an actual incident but so skewed left and stolen plot from Conrad's Heart of Darkness, wins it the Upchuck Award.

After that all other VN war movies and most of the 'Hawaii 50' TV series.

Good to see ya again, EOD!

I actually like Dumb and Dumber. I like movies that are SUPPOSED to be stupid--Airplane, Naked Gun, etc. But I know not everyone likes them--my wife doesn't.

Also Kingdom of the Spiders (1977) William Shatner went a little overboard trying to shake his Captain Kirk image during the Seventies.

***Worst movie ever made? ***

Way back in the dark ages I saw the previews to a flim callen THE ATOMIC MAN. Many years later I saw it on TV. A real dud. I see it was also called TIMESLIP.

Wow. I cannot believe it's been 11 years. That blows my mind. I remember it like it was yesterday -- hubby's cousin was a few blocks away when that happened.
