DEMENTED DEMOS (rallies remind us of urgent need to gain control of borders)

Those ...... in America illegally have by definition broken the law - which they clearly understand; an amnesty for law-breakers was a principal demand of the demonstrators.

All those American flags on display were particularly ironic, given that chief among the sponsors of the day's event was the hard-left group ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) - which more regularly demonstrates on behalf of Saddam Hussein and his ilk.

Well at least one New York paper is for America.

Good editorial. I'm dismayed to turn on Fox this morning and hear them declare a victory for the criminals. They, and the rest of the media, are anxious to show that these demonstrations will cause DC to grant the illegals what they wish. I pray this is not so.

The American voter turned on the TV and saw an illegal invasion by Mexico. Now, people are livid at the illegals for even being here in such great numbers, let alone hearing them threatening to destroy our economy if we don't surrender.
The "sleeping giant" has been exposed alright, to their own demise.

I wonder whose life the silly commies will try to destroy next.

Are they livid? I hope so. I am. Most of my neighbors are. Yet Fox is saying these marches built more sympathy for their "plight." Please tell me they're lying through their teeth.

Amnesty or any other insanity that even comes close to that is a slap in the face of any immigrant that has ever WAITED patiently to LEGALLY enter the U.S. and proudly become an AMERICAN. These are the people WE WANT. Calling these illegal invaders "immigrants" is a HUGE INSULT to these wonderful people and it must STOP.

Fox is no longer fair and balanced. They continually use the word "immigrant" instead of the more truthful "illegal immigrant" or better yet, invader.

Every poll I've seen, and I mean EVERY poll I've seen, shows the illegals are not welcome. The participants were definitely peeved, even .....gasp!......the commies who watch CNN voted pro-soverignty and pro-boarder!
The press can say anything it wants, and it's choosing to be supportive to the commies who rallied the illegals. Because the press feeds on controversy, they take the losing side of the issue to drum up business by pushing the emotion buttons. It's the ratings, baby.

Good! I couldn't believe the Fox reporter (Longioness--don't know how to spell it) firmly stating that this was a victory for them. Fox used to do better than that.

That is exactly what I saw yesterday. I have been a 'moderate voice on this issue, but watching TV, and finally hearing what their agenda really is from that woman on Hannity yesterday, I have changed my position completely on the issue. I was for a worker program, but now, I just want the borders protected, and my Home Depot employment days are over.

They got sympathy from those who supported them in the first place, but there was no gain on their side. There was, however, a huge gain for those who want boarder control. People had no idea how many illegals they were being forced to support. Heck, they can't even afford their own health care or gas for their own cars right now, and they're seeing visions of illegal welfare$$$$ checks dancing in their heads!
Check any poll. Take your pick. Not one is pro-illegal (unless it's a communist website, a poll deep in the heart of Babylon Ca., or a terrorist poll, then they don't count).

Some of us came around earlier than others. They experienced earlier the same kind of moment that you experienced yesterday. More and more are figuring out what's really going on. These recent rallies have awakened so many more. We can only hope that our Congressmen and the President get a clue before it is too late - if it isn't already. Welcome to the club.

Fox is turning less and less "fair and balanced" as the years roll by. They're about 7 degrees left of center now and heading to port side quickly.

Not O'Reilly; just the likes of Geraldo Rivera. He made me so angry last night but Bill O' put him in his place fast.

O.K. Let's not miss this opportunity. If a Conservative Politician will take the lead now, it can save our bacon in the mid-term elections and in '08.

I have a campaign theme for Tom Tancredo or any Pubbie who wants to win in '08. Here it is:

PUTTING AMERICA FIRST!

What say ye somebody? This not only applies to the Illegal Alien issues but the libs within who hate us, hate The Prez, hate the war in Iraq, hate the military.....need I go on?

"These recent rallies have awakened so many more."

That is what I'm seeing also. The bottom line is that they are not going to be able to collect free benefits as illegals much longer nor, will they be able to afford the cost of living here legally. The party is over.

Here are the contents of a letter that I sent to both Texas Senators and my Representative. As you might well guess, I'm pissed:

----------------------------------------------------------
Words alone cannot express how abandoned and betrayed I feel.

The thought of some Mexican who was living in a cardboard box six months ago being able to vote on the critical issues facing our country sickens me.

How did he come by these rights? Certainly not by paying his taxes and contributing to our society for the last 64 years like I have. No, all he had to do was illegally enter our country and mow a couple of yards.

For this, he is granted the same power at the ballot box as I am. Boy, you talk about disenfranchisement, this must be the preeminent example.

For me the feeling of disgust for the incompetence of our elected officials is sickening. Your inability to protect me as a citizen is travesty of unparalleled magnitude.

Of course, you will not be in office after the next election. Armed with their fake Social Security and voter registration cards, the new Democrat majority will sweep all Republicans from office. Once that happens, we can get on to building the new Socialist Norte Americana.

Ordinarily I put a salutation here in a letter. However, the animosity I feel for what politicians are doing to my country prevents me from doing so.
-----------------------------------------------------------
