Fellow FReepers, your prayers are urgently needed for MamaB and her husband and family. I received the following email from her this morning:
We got more bad news yesterday at the Kirklin Clinic. There is no treatment available right now unless the dr. down there can find a clinical study at a cancer research center like in San Antonio. He has 6-9 months to live without any treatment. We are all heartbroken and disgusted with the oncologist here who shoul have found this months if not years ago. Could you tell the people on the Dose tonight? Thanks.
I have already notified the "Day in the life..." (Dose) thread custodians, and thought this prayer request might bring the family some measure of comfort.
Thank you in advance for all who take a few moments out of your busy day to post your thoughts and prayers here.
We confess that nothing is too difficult for You. Doctors can make predictions, but we know that You and You alone determine the length of our days. We pray for Your miracles in the lives of MamaB and her husband. We acknowledge that on the cross of Calvary, Jesus died, bearing our sins and our diseases. We pray, Father, that MamaB's husband would receive this healing that has already been apportioned to him on the cross. Strengthen this couple and their family, and help them to walk in faith through the coming months as they commit everything to You. Sustain them through our prayers according to Your amazing grace. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
The Lord decides when and where and how. We keep the faith.
God's blessings for a full recovery.
