Update:
(CNN) -- Several people, including police officers, were wounded in a shooting Monday at a police station in Fairfax County, Virginia, according to a police spokeswoman.
Several people were airlifted to the hospital after the shooting at Sully District Station, in the western part of the county, Fairfax police spokeswoman Mary Ann Jennings said.
The U.S. Park Police said one of its helicopters was involved in a search after the incident.

FAIRFAX -- Shots have been fired at a police station in the Chantilly area.
Fairfax County police spokeswoman Mary Ann Jennings says several people have been hurt. She says authorities don't know how many or whether any officers were injured.
"We had a shooting situation, we're trying to figure out what happened, why it happened," Jennings said.
Police say the shooting happened at the Sully District Station, located on the 4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard. There were reports of a carjacking in the area near Paddington Lane, but it's not clear if the two incidents are related.
Police are reportedly still seeking a suspect.

5 Reportedly Shot At Fairfax Co. Police Station

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Shots have been fired at a police station in Fairfax County, News4 reported.
The incident happened at about 4 p.m. outside of the Sulley District Station in the 4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard, which is just north of Centreville.
There are unconfirmed reports that five people have been shot -- four police officers and a suspect.

There are also unconfirmed reports that two officers are in critical condition.
Initial reports indicated that someone armed with a rifle started shooting at the police station. Police were on the lookout for a white Ford pick-up truck that may be related to the shootings. The truck, which has Virginia plates JPK8892, has been recovered.
Police are searching for at least one suspect in vehicles at the Westfield Marriott Hotel, according to freelance photographer Gregg Mathieson who is in the area.
All Fairfax County police stations have been placed on lockdown.
