You're right; this is NOT being fair to PD's thread at all and I, for one, will quit the thread. Thank you for bringing this up. It's a crime, really, that a handful of ill mannered people hijacked it and I allowed myself to be drawn down to their level, on it.
Unfortunately, that's probably true - - along w the new absentee vote only in many counties.

Yes, they asked for the National Guard to be used in INTERCEPTING illegal aliens. Not "surveillance and support role". So Bush delivered a smoke-screen instead. Hopefully the House will remain steadfast against the Senate when it goes to conference.
If you are confused about what the word means I will give you examples. Anyone can join Rabble and no one becomes such involuntarily and it is characterised as those who do things such as celebrate championships by rioting in the streets and burning cars and property.
We have had some real nice displays of the rabble in action in Los Angeles when the crackheads took to the streets burning, looting, assaulting and killing after the King trial. Rabble raised its ugly head in Central Park when bands of men assaulted women in celebration of their Puerto Ricaness.
Rabble drag women off the streets and gangrape them. Rabble take part in drive by shooting at other rabble but unfortunately all too often miss and kill little girls sleeping in their beds.
Rabble bombed a church in Birmingham killing little Condi Rice's best friend. Rabble dragged black men from their homes and lynched them. Rabble cheered the ripping apart of Christians in the Colliseum by wild beasts. Rabble cursed and spit on the Lord on his way to Cavalry.
Are these enough or is it clear by now that there is no implication, in spite of dirtyone's attempt to deceive wrt my statement, that this term is applied by me to any decent, upright person with values from any socio-economic strata? Or anyone expressing their opinion on political websites.
