Some "conservatives" have a problem with democracy. It's a bit messy and prevents them from nuking brown people.
This is a perfect illustration of the demeaning, caustic commentary that I've seen on FR of late. But it isn't directed against the President or his wife - rather, it's directed against the people that want to preserve our republic by stopping the invasion of illegal aliens. The message of this post, and many others is that if one doesn't like having illegal aliens invading this country, they must be some kind of lessor human - perhaps a racist, a troll, a DUmmy, or some other equally demeaning term.
The illegal alien issue IS the dividing wedge issue. Frankly, it's incredibly odd to me that many freepers and apparently the forum's leadership are taking such a strong stance in favor of allowing the invasion to continue. Destroying our republic is decidedly NOT a conservative principle.
I don't believe conservatives want to 'nuke' brown people. They're frustrated and extremely worried about the War on Terror, Iraq, Iran, Israel, NK, and leaky borders -- not to mention the usual suspects in the senate. (It certainly doesn't help to get up in the morning, turn on the TV and find out that Fatso Kennedy, your senior senator, is agreeing in public with President Bush.)
I'm going to ignore your race baiting comment and focus on your "some 'conservatives' have a problem with democracy."
You better believe conservatives have a problem with democracy. That's why we prefer a constitutional republic.
If you like democracy so much, go join the DEMOCRATIC party.
