Sorry, I'd already poofed last night. I would like some with blueberry or strawberry...some sort of berry syrup. Otherwise, lots of butter and tall cold glass of milk. Yum.

Good afternoon, Connie...guess what I had for lunch?

My MIL said to thank you for the suggestion. We both had the burger and fries. Mine was a cheeseburger. I also had a double scoop of peppermint ice cream--in a cup--which I am still working on! That's a LOT of ice cream!

I forgot about the awards show...tuned in just as the 8th of November was being sung....then out came the vets....fuzzy monitor time. It was a great tribute and the standing ovation felt right, and not obligatory.

Don't worry vet, I was confused as well. And then once you know, it is sort of a Doh! moment.

Operation Northern Edge is getting ready to start fairly soon. The raptors came in yesterday they said. I hope to see them flying in the next couple weeks.

Wish I could send you one, too. They aren't too hard to find. There are 2 or 3 of them right here in Yukon...and many more all around Oklahoma...since this is where they got started. LOL! And...yes...they were deee-lish! ;o)

That is a beautiful Memorial Day pic. Did you make that or did you get that on the Net?

There was one in Bethany that we used to go to. I don't know why we don't have any here. They need to expand!:)

Excellent news, Tom. Proud Patriots has stuff going to lots of soldiers, and sailors, and Marines, and airmen in lots of places. Good news about the email from the Chaplain.

Yes, they do need to expand. I was just wishing one for Odessa while we were eating.

I went through Bethany this afternoon on my way to Penn Square Mall...my favorite mall here in OKC. My MIL lives in Yukon.

The eagle and Flag I found on the web and I made the text, 5-29-04, almost exactly two years ago.

Wow, that's signed with my old screen name, too!   The pic was in response to something Kerry said (barf!).
