Are CBS & Time connected to whichever recording company has published their latest album?

According to them they "have been proved right" so all is forgiven.

Horrible music by a bunch of dumb broads, they better hope hippies buy lots of their albums, because nobody else will.

Now I have a question. Does Paul Begala, their fellow Texan with whom they apparantly don't disagree, advise them?

He might. They certainly got some crappy advice. They probably could have salvaged a lot of their fan base if they just kept their mouths shut after the initial anti-Bush crack at the foreign concert, but they just had keep on and on, to the point where they're now claiming they always hated their fans and were only in for the money. Good riddance; I never liked their brand of country anyways.

They are really blurring the lines between entertainment, news, and political campaigning. It irks me to hear box office receipts on Sunday pm news.

Like so many dissenters, they seem to think that if we just "make nice" with terrorists, wave peace signs and disavow war as an answer, everything will turn out fine.

Yeah ... ABC's GMA fell all over themselves this week highlighting the Dixie Chicks ... started Wednesday with round one of a two part interview, Thursday the second episode ... the finale Friday with the Chicks performing for ABC in NYC's Bryant Park. Of course this is to be expected ... ABC employs several Clintonistas, Stephanopolis, Chris Coumo, Richard Clark.

It is unfair to Tokyo Rose to compare these brainless little turds to her. Tokyo Rose was in Japan visiting family when Pearl Harbor was bombed.

She resisted demands for months to act as an enemy propoganda mouthpiece. It was nearly two years later after constant pressure and when she learned that California Attorney General Earl Warren had sent her family to relocation camps that she finally gave in and did her first broadcast.

She had gone to Japan on a mission of mercy to visit an ailing relative. She came home and was charged with treason. One of the few good things Gerald Ford did was to pardon her.

The Ditzy Chicks volunteered to be enemy mouthpieces and were never charged with anything. They aren't fit to wipe Tokyo Rose's butt.

Our president has only himself to blame for the msm's sabotage of his presidency. He should have done what Canadian PM Harper is doing. Harper publically identified his opponents in the Canadian press as being political enemies aligned with the Liberal Party and has refused to talk to them. Moreover, he has encouraged all conservatives in his party to do likewise. After the predictable caterwauling by the liberal press corps, now they are begging him to "settle our differences". They are irrelevant, and having the PM make that point to the Canadian people in such a graphic way endangers these parasites. Now THAT is the way to handle the White House Press Corps instead of taking the wuss position of setting "a new tone." That immediately signaled the msm that W was a patsie and they could busy themselves with destroying his presidency. And having Scott McClellan as press secretary for three horrible years just made it too easy.

You are so right! The Dixie Chicks sucked well before Maines went for the anti-American cheap pop in London. Guys like Hannity were shocked at their idiot views only because he seems to think country music is intrinsically conservative, when in fact it's got tons of leftists like Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson, although it's nowhere near as bad as folk music, which I suppose is really just commie country music.

The Chicks song "Earl" was pretty obviously an attempt to caricature a typical redneck and string him him up. Their cover of Fleetwood Mac's was syrupy and inferior (like their politices) as well. The rock group Primus was absolutely right about how little the world needs folk singers.

What a disgusting, classless, foul mouthed little sow. I'm glad she opened her mouth and showed her character and that of her band. Now that I see them for what they are, I'll never support them in any way.

All that is left of them is the sound of hanging bodies creaking in the wind.

According to Maines, the group would rather have a few "discriminating" fans, than have a whole bunch of rednecks buying their CD's

....as their marketing managers and record label scream..."Shut the __k Up! Please!"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
