Hey, if this thread were the polls, Ginty would win going away.

Anyone here Smerkonish (sp?) kissing Kean's a** this morning on AM 1210? Sick. I guess I'm too new to the area to realize Mike is not a conservative. Problem is that Bennett (AM 990) puts me to sleep on my way to work...
Anyway, two more votes for Ginty coming from Lindenwold, NJ (Camden Co) this evening!

Mike Smerconish is an overgrown teenager who should stick to interviewing washed up bands from the 1980s. He's also a trial lawyer which should tell you all you need to know about his politics. Want to really get sick? Listen to him defend his brother trial attorneys.
I stopped listening to him years ago. If Bill Bennett doesn't work for you, sometimes you can pull in Holy Spirit Radio 1570 AM.

First Smerconish told Kean that he was for him, and then right after he had Kean on, his phone lines were full. Evidently, Ginty supporters I assume.
So, he says, "if you people are calling about abortion, forget it, I'm not taking your calls." Such a debate is not important or newsworthy to him evidently.
I would say what really turns me off about him more than his politics is his materialistic point of view about lots of things. The lawyer in him explains it all. There is something very eerie about a certain cross-section of Republicans who happen to be "Catholic, who happen to live in choice Philly suburbs, and consequently happen to be loaded. He fits all three. I also think that I work around a bunch of these types, but that's another story.

Ha, ha. Surprise, surprise. He wouldn't even TALK about the abortion issue with his callers. What a disgrace. His show is mostly fluff anyway. He's a tool of the local media and a homo-promo cheerleader. He's a disciple of former Mayor Frank Rizzo, but Mike's got little of Rizzo's sense of right and wrong and none of his street-smart toughness. Dom Giordano is about the only semblance of local conservative substance left on WPHT.

I know the type exactly. They are Catholics by ancestry but relativist materialists in practice.

So, he says, "if you people are calling about abortion, forget it, I'm not taking your calls." Such a debate is not important or newsworthy to him evidently. That and he probably couldn't defend it if he had to. Which must annoy a lawyer immeasurably. :)

"an upset would make my day..."
It could happen for two reasons:
#1. Conservatives are usually more radical and turn out for the Primary as opposed to the Liberal, oops, I mean moderate pubbies.
#2. It sounds like a low turnout today. That is always good for the Conservative side.

Actually, Bill Chegwidden is a family friend of mine. He was one of my high school history teachers, and I worked on his campaign when he won the election for the Mayor of Wharton. He's a good guy, fiscally conservative and pro gun.
Murphy was one of the conservatives who ran for governor, and he is the most solid candidate for freeholder, IMO.
It was hard for me to decide on the third person. I liked Ramirez and Feyl, but Tietjen appears to be an average person like us, and has a similar background to my father. That decided my vote for her.
