U.S. Soldiers Tortured: Where Is the Outrage?
FoxNews/Fox&Friends Blog ^ | 6-21-06 | E.D. Hill

I'm mad.

The New York Times wants closed. The San Jose Mercury News claims that Gitmo nurtures a culture of death. The Cleveland Plain Dealer wants Gitmo closed. Journalists and editorial staffs are up in arms that there might possibly be some kind of torture occurring.

So what do they say when torture OBVIOUSLY occurs? How do they react when two U.S. servicemen — in -approved uniforms — have their hearts cut out, their testicles cut off, their penises cut off and stuffed in their mouths, arms contorted and eyes gouged? THIS is torture.

As Satan's most successful effort to date, Islam is, IMO, the greatest threat to civilization IN HUMAN HISTORY.

Their ideas are the most dangerous in history. But since they are no more than a bunch of smelly, backward, goat- and child-raping cave-dwellers, they're no nazi-Germany and can be easily crushed. However, the one thing they do have, is manpower.

We must understand things from the media's point of view. If an item will outrage Americans and make them mad enough to want to fight the terrorists - it must be played down and ignored by the media.

If an incident can be emphasized, stretched, elaborated on to make our military and Pres. Bush look like warmongerers, torturers, world-haters it is ok to publish.

We will not see much information on these poor soldiers because it shows the terrorists as monsters, it incites Americans to want to fight back. The MSM can not allow that - it goes against the agenda of the liberals.

Agenda of the liberals - make the super-power America weak in every way possible to allow weak nations some access to power. Make America's wealth accessible to the other nations wanting to sap its wealth as Mexico is doing. That is why we have environmental regulations, global warming agendas, anti-war proponents, cut-run proponents. Make America the world enemy and allow dictators and terrorists to operate under the radar as these are the ones paying for the MSM and the liberals.

By golly, if the MSM is willing to undercut America and turn it into the world enemy, they would surely welcome financial benefit from those willing to pay for their power. We should look at the money trail of liberals and the MSM. It would probably lead directly to foreign supporters (mainly dictators, weak nations, terrorist groups).

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Two California soldiers shot to death in Iraq were murdered by Iraqi civil-defense officers patrolling with them, military investigators have found.

The deaths of Army Spc. Patrick R. McCaffrey Sr. and 1st Lt. Andre D. Tyson were originally attributed to an ambush during a patrol near Balad, Iraq, on June 22, 2004.

But the Army's Criminal Investigation Command found that one or more of the Iraqis attached to the American soldiers on patrol fired at them, a military official said Tuesday.

June 20, 2006. See my link in above post for the whole story

Who isn't outraged? What does this author want people to do? This story has been widely reported and no one is happy about what happened. I don't know that people are all that surprised though. We all know what these animals are capable of doing.

Its a lesson I thought all US Military in Iraq already had - they absoulutely CANNOT surrender. They can die, but if they surrender their fate will be terrible.

This is exactly why we are still over there.

In order to win we have to be prepared and willing to do to them what they are doing to us.

The American media and people could not stand us using those type of tactics.

If we don't these things will continue to happen

Thank God they didn't have panties put on their heads, had dogs barking at them or were made to pose in humiliating pictures as that would have been REAL torture according to the MSM and Democrats. (sarcastic comment)

How the Democrats and media pukes that acuse US soldiers of torture and abuse of Iraqi civilians can ignore what is truely a war crime is beyond me.

Outrage? A person has to care first in order to have outrage.

The Senate has defined torture down so far with the idiotic McCain and Lindsey bills and amendments that when REAL TORTURE takes place it is seen as just tit for tat.

PC and moral equivalence inculcated into our society by LEFTISTS and RINOs have neutered this nations ability to fight WAR!!!

Where INDEED is the OUTRAGE???!!!

As someone who believes in the Bible, IMO the devastation of Islam cannot be measured simply by the considerable death and destruction it has been responsible for, but for the millions of souls it has held in darkness from redemption.

According to the Bible, Muhammad, it would seem, has the highest price to pay in eternity for his role as Satan's tool in misleading so many souls.

I agree. On another thread it was quoted by the new muslim "leader" that American "Crusaders" were dealth with. I said in reply if its' the Crusades they want, let's give it to them.

No quarter, no mercy, no three squares a day at Gitmo.......just kill them. No more of this "Islam is not the enemy" bullshit, just kill them.

You know - I admired the general on Fox who would not tell of the gross abuses to the soldiers out of respect for the families. But, I knew that that respect would not apply to the press. Even our own E.D. comes and gives publicity to the tortures - exactly what the terrorist wants and why these things were done - to send fear into the hearts of others.

We live in a selfish nation where there is no responsibility to the hurt inflicted on the families when the deaths and horrors can be used to further the agenda of ANY one of the media.

So expect to see more gross tortures because they make the news. And, there is no penalty - even Saddam is treated humanely after slaughtering his own people.

America is to be the punching bag and purse for the whole world. We are to work to pay for the inability of the world peoples to work and pay their own way because of the rule of dictators and terrorists who steal that ability from them.

As long as the purse of America can be drained with merely the cost of bribes to the MSM, we don't have a chance and the world peoples do not have a chance for anything other than life under world dictators and terrorists.

All because of greed. Greed from the liberals, the media, the MSM, the politicians. We are reaping the fruit of our nation's fall into immorality and the loosening of our ethics, our honor, our patriotism.

Look at Mexico - a corrupt nation. That is our future and it is coming quickly.

Yes, the Muslims have succeeded in shaking us up.

Speak for yourself. I am not shaken but angry.

Anger is the only appropriate response to the barbarity routinely perpetrated by these psychopaths in the name of their god, the Devil, and we should do everything in our power to send these butchers to meet him.

I agree completely. It was not without reason that Dante put him in Hell.

I'd only heard about the booby trapping of the bodies and had not heard the details of the torture. Words cannot describe ... my prayers go out to their families.

Remind me again why we don't just nuke the place?

I have opined on these pages that the U.S.A. subscribes to such things as the Geneva Convention in an effort to protect our people and not as an effort to look out for our enemies. That being said, we should announce today that beginning tomorrow, the United States Military will reciprocate the treatment provided to our solders by the enemy. Starting tomorrow, we should publicly draw and quarter a dozen Iraqi prisoners in public. Everyday thereafter, we should do the same to another dozen until the bastards who did this to our guys are turned over to the U.S. Army.

Tactics like that didn't work for the SS, and they wouldn't help in Iraq. In fact it would snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We got Abu Mousad al-Zarqawi because ordinary Iraqis are coming forward with more and more intel on the terrorists all the time. Since then we have staged over 500 raids and killed and captured hundreds of AQ in Iraq. Zarqawi considered their situation bleak precisely because Iraqis are cooperating with the new Iraqi security forces. The sight of "Crusaders" executing Muslims would turn the populace against us and destroy everything our troops have sacrificed to accomplish over the last three years.

This should be front page, top fold, lead story ... on every "news" outlet.

It's not.

Top Headlines on some media websites, as of right now:

CNN: "8 troops to be charged with murder in death of Iraqi"

MSNBC: "8 U.S. troops face murder charges"

Washington Post: "Bush Accuses Iran of Dragging Its Feet "

LA Times: "L.A. Mayor to Announce Deal in Schools Plan"
Down at the bottom, LA Times has: "U.S. Investigates GIs' 'Barbaric' Slayings in Iraq"

Fox News: "Gunfight at Fed Prison" However, "Fox & Friends" and O'Reilly both have columns about the tortured GIs, and this: "Two National Guard Troops Killed by Iraqi Patrol Partners" is under Latest Headlines.
