FReep this MSNBC poll on Israel's response to kidnappings
MSNBC ^ | July 12, 2006 | MSNBC Poll

Posted on 07/12/2006 6:42:28 PM PDT by NinoFan

Is the Israeli offensive a proper response to the kidnapping of Israel's soldiers?

Yes. It underscores the gravity of the situation for the Israelis and the lengths they'll go to to ensure the security of the country's borders

No. So much for "proportional response." The Israeli attacks are a heavy-handed action whose deadly consequences are only making matters in the region worse.

Israel must change its philosophy from live-and-let-live, stalemate, and status quo, to one of gain. That is, since all the Paleos seem to care about is land, every time they commit an act of violence confiscate a parcel of their land, adjacent to Israel.

Plow it, leave it fallow, extend the wall around it but allow no one to live there or even to pass through it.

Since the Paleos seem unable to contain their passions and violence, over time, they would be crowded into smaller and smaller areas, eventually to be driven out of the territory altogether.

But the idea is never to fight just to stand your ground. If you never advance in any way, eventually you will be defeated. However, if you gain something everytime you fight, no matter how small, eventually you will win.

Winning may be driving all Paleos out, or it may be finally getting a real and lasting peace. But you must play to win, because playing to break even has proven to be a losing game.

I love how msnbc is arrogant enough to rationalize your vote for you. Someone tell those idiots there are different reasons for a yes or no sometimes.

The "good guys" aren't represented. Both "choices" are so loaded, I wouldn't touch it.

Yes, Israel is making a proper response, but they are not going to put moronic words in my mouth, "explaining" my reson for that response.

They can take their poll, and shove it; all it is doing is driving up their site's hit total.

Time for Israel to introduce the concept of the DMZ. You go in, you don't come out.

78% for our side -

They loaded the wording to get the opposite results.

Pigs.

An honest poll would simply ask: "Is Israel taking the right actions: Yes. No.

MSNBC's wording No. So much for "proportional response." The Israeli attacks are a heavy-handed action whose deadly consequences are only making matters in the region worse." is so obvious no one can miss the bias. Either they are so angry, they can't be bothered to make it a little less obvious or they think the public is stupid. (Actually, it's probably both)
