This despite saying the other day during his press conference he wouldn't be giving interviews.

Freepers have discussed this in the past because Joe Wilson either put it in his book or in some interviews (or both).
I caught that too and thought it was odd.
Now that his old lady isn't supporting him anymore, he's getting desperate for money.
I still can't get over the fact that this appears to be an attempt to genuinely smear Cheney .. I can't help but wonder if Hillary is terrified that Cheney might run against her ..?? Thus the pre-emptive attack!
I don't get any of this. And what I really don't get is why the media have remained silent in the face of Joe's lie, the biggest one of which is that he debunked the administration's theory that Iraq was trying to buy uranium.
FGS, Wilson bolstered the administration's position. He told Congress that Iraq WAS trying to buy uranium.
Are all the media just braindead?

I really do think so. Sometimes bias just can't explain anymore how stupid these people appear anymore. Look at Dan Rather still claiming the phony docs are true. He really believes what's he's saying. It's serious brain dementia. I've always been a conservative from my youngest days. I really do think as Savage is famous for saying that liberalism is a mental disease.
As an example of how absolutely brain dead the media is, I just read on the live thread regarding Israel that MSNBC has been hyping Joe Scarborough's show for tonight with the teaser: "Did the president's profanity threaten world peace?"
It is time for Wilson's private testimony to Congress to be declassified.
