I've tried a lot, but this is my favorite by far. I've always got a bottle around somewhere, and it's for sipping only.

Wouldn't a platinum bottle create a risk of altering the flavor of the tequila?

Well its sunday morning
And the sun is shining in my
Eye that is open
And my head is spinning
Was the life of the party
I can't stop grinning
I had too much tequila last night
Jose Cuervo
You are a friend of mine
I like to drink you with
A little salt and lime
Did I kiss all the cowboys
Did I shoot out the lights
Did I dance on the bar
Did I start any fights
Now wait a minute
Things don't look to familiar
Who is the cowboy who's sleeping beside me
Well he's awful cute
But how'd I get his shirt on
I had too much tequila last night
Jose Cuervo
You are a friend of mine
I like to drink you with
A little salt and lime
Did I kiss all the cowboys
Did I shoot out the lights
Did I dance on the bar
Did I start any fights
All those little shooters
How I love to drink them down
Come on bartender lets have another round
Well the music is playing
And my spirits are high
Tomorrow might be painful
But tonight we're going to fly
Jose Cuervo
You are a friend of mine
I like to drink you with
A little salt and lime
Everytime we get together
I sure have a good time
You're my friend, you're the best
Mi amigo(Tequila)

Interesting. However, marketing research has repeatedly shown that consumers can't tell the difference in blindfold tests between the taste of one brand vs. another. This holds true for just about any commodity including soft drinks, coffee, cigarettes, whiskey, and even beer (with the exception of regular drinkers who swill 6 or more suds per night -- these dudes can usually pick out their own brand but no more).
On the other hand, the "price-quality illusion" is very much alive and well.
Bottom line -- people crazy enough to shell out the bucks for a drink of the real expensive cactus juice aren't really purchasing just a good drink.

Wow. One could say that the hangover was worth it, which is truly rare.

On the other end of the spectrum is El Toro at $3.99 per bottle.

Tequila is the only liquor that no matter how much I drink I do not have a hangover.
