Go Dick Go!

I'd really like to see Stabenow out too, but it looks like I'm not going to get my wish.

It is encouraging to see DeVos leading, but I'm afraid Dangerously Incompetent Debbie will be going back to D.C.

Getting rid of Little Debbie isn't going to be easy, but right now the race between Bouchard and Butler is still on polite footing. I got the chance to meet Rev. Butler last week and he's got my vote in the primary. Bouchard's stand on issues are similar to my own, but the Detroit newspapers labeled him as "pragmatic." Isn't pragmatism what's gotten us into the huge spending spree the GOP is inflicting on the taxpayers?

I don't want pragmatism. I want passion, and Butler's my man. Electorally speaking! ;-)

"I'd really like to see Stabenow out too, but it looks like I'm not going to get my wish."

If you want StabAcow out, you should vote for Butler over Bouchard.
Bouchard polls higher with Republicans, but, Butler will get all those voters in November plus some crossover RAT votes.
He can beat Do-Nothing-Debby!

Jenny is toast, even a good share of the "rank and file" union voters have had it with her.

RINO Schwartz is toast also, Tim Walberg should win that easily on Nov.8th in the 7th district.

Being Governor of Michigan is one of those jobs that I can't see why anyone would want. The problems that state is facing being wedded so closely to the auto industry are damned near insurmountable.

If you want StabAcow out, you should vote for Butler over Bouchard.

Or as I've always referred to her since she became our Senator - StabMeNow.

I truly believe Jennifer Graft-holm is toast.

A new poll out Wednesday does not agree with this poll. It shows Grandholm with a 47 to 44 lead over Dick DeVos with 9 percent undecided. It shows Granholm's numbers have improved slightly since a June poll. Then 46 percent said they backed DeVos and 44 percent backed the governor with 10 percent undecided. This poll as well as the earlier poll was conducted by Lansing-base EPIC-MRA and surveyed 600 likely voters statewide and had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4 percent.

I voted for Bouchard by absentee ballot today. I was leaning toward Butler but his new tv commerical shows him stopping a white kid from stealing an old white lady's purse.

Don't think that's very real.

I just don't see DeVos winning in November. Every poll has shown this thing is going to be close, and in Michigan, when it is close, the Detroit Machine finds a way to pull it out. Detroit delivered the state to Gore, Granholm, and Kerry in 2000, 2002, and 2004, while Michigan Minus Detroit easily went for Bush, Posthumus, and Bush in those same elections.

Granholm is immensely incompetent, but no one seems to care. At least when the also incompetent Blanchard lost to Engler, it wasn't close enough for Detroit to steal it.

I disagree.

There's nothing unusual about a black woman being robbed or a white young white male robbing someone, and the symbolism is of someone who wil fight crime--- symbolism having been used in many great political commericials, most notably the Reagan "bear" commercial.

Go Butler!

Dick DeVos (Richard DeVos, Jr.); his father, the founder of Amway, is Rich DeVos (Richard DeVos, Jr.).

listened to a bunch of sate employees talking the other day. mind you, these are childrens social workers too.. talking about how they hated to do it, but they were gonna vote for devos on an "anyone but granholm" vote.
if female, state employee, children's social workers are going against granholm, well, i think that a good omen.

The Canadian Trash in the governor's mansion knows she's in trouble. She just rolled out a HUGE new program to create jobs in -- you guessed it -- public works, specifically building and re-building roads. Projects slated for 2008 have been bumped to 2007 and so on. Our roads have sucked for years and she rolls this out NOW.

I do think she's going to lose. State employees hate her guts. Nothing like working 40 hours a week and getting paid for 38.

I think you're mistaken on that. The only part of Jenny's moonbat base that is still intact is the teachers union, the rest are sick of her.
How many of the Detroit voters that elected her the first time, that are now out of work, will be getting a "Google" job? NONE!, and they are pissed off at Jenny's "Jobs program" fantasy, that seeks non-existiant jobs that none of them would qualify for, if they ever did come to the state.

My hubby works in Lansing, training those very same social workers, both private agency and state employees. Everybody is disgusted with Jenny. Management, however, isn't -- they've been allowed to maintain their high level of incompetence with her in office.

The state is about to be hit with federal fines for non-compliance in training of social CHILD protective service workers. They'd rather pay the fines than do it right, then point fingers when another Ricky Holland case comes up.

Well, I can tell you that the UAW workers are sick of her.

She has wrote them off as old economy, and unimportant to the future. That may be quite true, but her saying it gives them no reason to vote for her and pissed em off.
