I read a few days ago that France was interested in participating. It indicated to me that a lot was happening behind the scenes. I am sure that Israel has been well briefed by us and we have mutually agreed to a plan of action.
"I saw it and agree Gabler came off like a hysterical fanatic. Perhaps you didn't notice this but while he was ranting the other panel members behind him were laughing."
They made no response maybe that is why.....they were amused. I have seen him go off before but not to this level.
We have a special event that by common thread consensus needs to have special notice drawn.
An award of special merit in posting is awarded to Freeper Alas Babylon for Post #68. Alas! rarely lets fly but when they do it is ALWAYS worth reading and thinking about.
And Alas Babylon! is right on. Too many Americans HAVE forgotten.

Certainly hearing them at the UN a few minutes ago they are holding fast but will they be a lone voice apart from the US I fear they will.
Yeah I think Clinton's Yassar fixation was part of his laten Homosexuality that Ann Coulter mentioned the other day.
FOX News has video of rockets being fired from very near building that was demolished.
Israeli spokesman confirmed this IS the same building. Infrared video shows several rocket firings.
Brian Wilson now saying spokesman NOT saying absolutely sure is same building.
I heard differently. We shall see.
The Israeli ambassador on MTP said it was a similar kind of incident.
That would be a proposterous argument to make, given their actions as rocket launchers. She leans left, but she's not that stupid. Pretty sure she was demonstrationg the difficulty in telling civies and hezbos apart.
Now, this sunday's Media Nuggets
###### Irony of Fate! - For a looooong time, MSM very badly wanted to put Karl Rove on Jury trial. Last week for a very short time, flurry of phone calls & blackberry hits stunned the media & news outlets with news that FINALLY, Karl Rove is in court for Jury trial, only to realize little later that he was the Jury! Yes, he was selected to the jury pool, along with Madelline Albright.
###### MSM on watch! - Vice President Cheney recently picked a Press Assistant. His job description: "The Press Assistant is responsible for monitoring media for various national security and domestic issues, informing the Press Secretary and Deputy Press Secretary of issues of note and factual inaccuracies in the media." :-)
###### Talking the talk - After helping Hillary Clinton in fundraiser, appearing on the Charlie Rose Show, Rupert Murdoch said that he will NOT support Hillary Clinton in 2008. He 's against gay marriage, abortion & anti-Americanism.
###### Walking the walk? - Clinton(who waives $100000 speaking fee), Hillary, Gore & host of democrats were invited to NewsCorp. gala.
###### Hundreds of troops and veterans from the war in Iraq are blogging world-wide, and many are focused on a common enemy: "Journalists."
###### Media Bits - Fox News Greta Van Susteren owns a 144-seat seaside restaurant & an 80-foot yacht.
Ann Coulter appeared on CNBC's Donny Deutsch, MSNBC's Hardball, and CNBC's Kudlow all within the span of only three days - Rumor is that Coulter is testing waters whether to accept MSNBC's offer of a show.
Bianca Solorzano(former MSNBC host) becomes CBS News correspondent.
Tammy Haddad, Chris Matthews' Hardball producer was named MSNBC Vice President.
###### McCain's turn to NewMedia - Patrick Hynes, formerly of CrushKerry.com, now AnkleBitingPundits.com - working for McCain's Straight Talk America. Naturally, some bloggers are upset. Also interesting while McCain was critical of Swift Boat Vets, Hynes was the opposite.
###### Philip Anschutz is favored by the British government to build Britain's first super-casino. Anschutz's Millennium Dome site in London topped a short list of eight proposed venues announced by the government's Casino Advisory Panel. Anschutz is the conservative publisher of Washington Examiner and Examiner chain of newspapers.
###### XM Radio Widens Loss, Losing Subscribers.
###### Time Inc. shutting down the magazine, Teen People.
"This is not a joke" section.
###### In the midst of circulation decline, low ad revenue & lay-offs to boost the morale of it's journalists, Los Angeles Times editor offered an unusual morale booster - pony rides.
###### Time magazine announced it's replacement for fired Matt Cooper - Ana Marie Cox (specialist in sex, alcohol, and potty humor & creator of Wonkette website).
Yes, I heard the amb on MTP state "similar" incident. I'm almost certain I heard the guy on FOX state it WAS the same building. Sorry to not have gotten the Israeli guy's name, but I'm sure FOX will replay, replay, replay.
Probably between the latest blonde kidnapping/murder updates. Jeez.
Hello? I said I was guessing, but I think I'm on the right track. There is a huge Tunisian population in France, and has been for at least 40 years...
I heard that yesterday and laughed at first, but it speaks volumes. Islamo's won't tolerate ANYTHING western.
Probably just before Chris or KO to try and boost their ratings, if rumor pans out. I may have to purchase a DIVO or whatever it's called.
Thanks as always for your Nuggest posts.
It's really hard to say what kinds of "deals" can be made, as the situation is dynamic, ever-changing.
I believe the diplomats are saying what they think they need to be saying.
And it makes it all the harder to successfully wage war when the media are micro-managing it. The Cana incident is just an opening for Lebanon to harden their position.
