Has anybody seen the Fruit Vendor lately?
Yes. I'll be going in tomorrow. The security was actually stepped up on NJ Transit earlier this evening. The fruit vendor still in the same spot, though the stand has changed hands (or should I say turbans) several times.
I wonder if we'll ever hear the entire story.
Tonight by the Blue Ridge Parkway there were more 'police' cars than I have seen in the entire past five years. There had to be at least ten of them in a ten mile segment.
What is happening in the cities? Similar?

BREAKING NEWS Salem Police Locate Third Suspected Bomb
(SALEM ) - Salem area bomb teams have responded to a third report of a suspicious explosive device today. Police Lt. Debbie Baker says the device was located by a passing motorist at Woodside Drive and Jon Mart in South Salem.
Baker says their police bomb team disrupted this one, which is a term used when officers try to breech the bomb. "Sometimes they explode, sometimes it goes better."
She says law enforcement in Salem is very concerned. This is the third suspected bomb found in Salem today, and so far none of them appear to be fake.(snip)

But an article on a different FR thread indicated her bodyguards (trained in martial arts) were a threat AFTER her defeat!
With the explosion of computer personal data thefts, wouldn't it be prudent if our government established a LIFE SENTENCE for those found to have been involved in such theft (doing the stealing or the buying of information) - with no clemency or chance of parole? It would be fitting punishment for criminals or sleezy people who cause so much anxiety to so many people's lives.

Not having access to my makeup and lipstick - now that is utterly frightening. I woke up post-surgery once and asked for my lipstick (really I did). My daughter-in-law still mentions it. There are just some things tough to be without.
