The U.K. Daily Mirror is not the first paper most think of when it comes to serious breaking news. But the Mirror was the first to break the story of Adolf Hitler doing a little editing of the Bible so he could use the power of the religion he hated to his further his maniacal cause. It’s said that approximately 100,000 Third Reich Bibles were actually published and distributed to thousands of churches in 1941.It’s believed this particular copy, discovered in church offices in Hamburg, is one of the few if not the sole surviving “Deutsch mit Gott – Germans with God”. The rest are assumed to have been destroyed by Christians that rightfully considered them blasphemous. Ironically, some may have even been burned along with thousands of other books on direct orders of Hitler himself.
Of course all Jewish words, such as Hallelujah and Jehovah were removed and any and all representations of compassion were erased.
The most blatant and significant amendments were Hitler’s not 10 but 12 commandments! And we’re not just talking about adding two new biblical house rules. Two were deemed démodéd and deleted forthwith and four entirely new ones were handed down from on high. Six and eight, thou shalt not kill or steal, obviously would’ve interfered with the Fuhrer’s plans for global domination so they just had to go. Below are Adolf Hitler’s version of the Mount Sinai Missives.
1. Honor God and believe in him wholeheartedly
2. Seek out the peace of God (So far so good.)
3. Avoid all hypocrisy
4. Holy is your health and life
5. Holy is your well-being and honor
6. Holy is your truth and fidelity
7. Honor your father and mother – your children are your aid and your example
8. Keep the blood pure and your honor holy
9. Maintain and multiply the heritage of your forefathers
10. Be ready to help and forgive
11. Honor your Fuhrer and master (11!? Modesty thy name is Hitler.)
12. Joyously serve the people with work and sacrifice.
This is about as authentic as The Hitler Diaries.
Hitler added a little Koran to the Bible....

Well, it's not entirely incredible. And it wouldn't be the last time collectivists attempted to coopt religion to further their own political aims ... as a matter of fact, we're seeing something along those lines right now, in our own country. It's certainly clumsy and obvious to anyone who even understands Christianity, but that doesn't seem to matter. It's all about "recapturing" the "language," for propaganda value, apparently.

How about some revisionismed texts in current use?
Three bug me the most
1. "Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me"
WRETCH is replaced with a variety of words that all imply no sinful nature, just an impoverished economic or cultural environment. and LIKE ME is usually replace with the collective US.
2. God said: "Am I my brother's keeper? Yes, you are your brother's keeper."
WRONG. That lying murderer said "Am I my brother's keeper?" In an attempt to throw a red herring into his attempts to escape God's justice. God commanded to be keepers of the plants and animals. But we specifically are NOT our brother's keeper in God's plan.
3. "Robin Hood, Steal from the rich and give to the poor"
WRONG. The government/politicians/Sheriff of Nottingham stole from middle class people for the personal benefit of government employees. Robin Hood stole back the property that the sheriff had stolen and returned the stolen property to its rightful owners.
The poor were not involved in the transfers of property as they had nothing worth stealing.
Hitler thought Christianity was a gutter religion
Unless you consider yourself genetically superior, in which case smoke 'em.

He cynically manipulated and severely altered Christianity to further his political domination, and also utilized Norse Pagan beliefs to the same end. This is proof that he was NOT Christian.
So hitler did to Christianity what creationists do to science?
True, he was CINO (of the worst sort).

Creationists seek to find a place for God in science. Hitler sought to replace God with himself.
This isn't proof of anything.
The authenticity of the document is dubious at best. If authentic, its purpose was for National Socialist propaganda, not Christian enlightenment.

There were occasions when he purported to be such for his own advantage, but it's quite clear from his own writings, as well as those of Goebbels and others, that Hitler detested Christianity. Hitler also signed a pact with Stalin ... did that make him a Stalinist? No, it didn't.
And how about "God helps those who help themselves"?
