I know someone who is involved in this Pardon process, and from what I have been told, all 99 of these Pardons are for crimes committed years ago and all of them are not repeat offenders and have been in good standing

I recall a study years ago that compared people with only one felony offense that was at least 20 years old, or older, were three times more less likely to rip-off a employer then those who had a clean record. So these pardons make sense.

Funny, unlike Klinton, I don't see that Bush pardoned any terrorists.

Jimmy Carter issued 563 in four years How many of those were to his brother???

It's a good thang that there is no pardon for either member of the "Clinton Gang".
Charges must be pending.

Randall Leece Deal, Clayton, Ga. -- liquor law violations and conspiracy to violate the liquor laws.William Henry Eagle, Wenatchee, Wash. -- possessing an unregistered still, carrying on the business of a distiller without the required bond, and manufacturing mash on other than lawfully qualified premises.
There must be some kind of law that says presidents must pardon a certain number of moonshiners every year. I swear it seems like a couple of these show up on every list of presidential pardons I've seen. LOL.
President Reagan issued a presidential pardon to the most famous moonshiner of them all . . . the guy known as "The Last American Hero" -- moonshiner turned NASCAR rookie turned moonshiner turned NASCAR legend Rober "Junior" Johnson.

I don't see Valerie Plame's name there or Joe Wilson's, so I guess that is good.

Bush "remains the stingiest of postwar presidents" in regard to pardons.
Sounds like a sign of a good president to me!!!!!!!

Just guessing, but I don't think you'll find any big Bush campaign donors on that list. Unlike his predecessor.
