The Deconstruction of Hillary Rodham Clinton

Posted on 09/10/2006 10:13:02 PM PDT by I'll be your Huckleberry

Let's be clear about what transpired tonight. The MSM, ABC, and the powers that back them have made their choice.

And it is not Hillary.

Who will emerge as the left's chosen one is uncertain, but the campaign to destroy Hillary Clinton began tonight.

If the playbook is to be followed, you will find a growing number of negative stories casting more and more dispersion on the Clinton's failed leadership.

You might ever see some of her many scandals brought to examination.

It is over for her.

Perhaps because of her position on the war, perhaps because she could never have won or perhaps because evil always turns on evil - she will be systematically Borked.

This highly publicized, prime time piece is no accident. It is not a bit of truth that fell through the filter, it is deliberate and approved.

Never underestimate the enemy. If they feed her to the wolves then there is another upon whom they will pin their hopes.

Stay Strong

Huck

I don't know exactly what she is doing, but yes, everything is by design.

Clintonz first and greatest mistakes were his choice's of cabinet personnel

I have no liking for the Clintons.

Clinton picked his cabinet to carry out his own interests and protect himself.

All Presidents do that, but in Clinton's case it was all about 'what was best for Bubba', not the country.

I don’t like them either I really did not like them for that 8 years and I am really happy I don’t have to see Al Gores face as POTUS, but that is not the point for me here.

It is easy to look in the rear view mirror, but had Clinton picked other but equally loyal cabinet people, probably Waco, Elian Gonzales, and the Mogadishu Somalia debacles would not have went down. Moreover with stronger Secretary's of State we might have even got OBL during the Clinton terms.

That is all just speculation of course, but I don’t think it can be completely ruled out

No, it can't be ruled out. In fact if my memory is correct, he wanted to replace Reno and I believe she begged to keep her job. She made some very bad calls.

If Clinton hadn't been otherwise occupied and not so fearful of criticism OBL would be history.

One possible plan:

1. Dems win the House
2. Dems impeach GWB (articles already written)
3. Dems spark national outrage campaign to prevent VP becoming President
4. Pelosi (next in line) becomes President, conveniently needs to appoint a VP.

All thats left is a little Arkanacide.

I agree. His f*up with Monica did not have to hamstring him on the executive level, but he let it because as you say (and we all know) all he thought about was himself.

Sandy Burglar let the Special Forces down, but he might not have done that had Burglar had faith that Clinton would not turn like the weather-vane.

So we pretty much agree, and Sandy's 'paper padding' didn't much help him, lol.

Yes it is hard to talk ones way out of that one. That was a mind-blower for me that he would actually do that.

My guts says (and I hope) that they know what Sandy took and those documents and records are actually not destroyed, IOW he got facsimiles.

OTH it could have happened based on the amount of trust conferred to people at his level.

Nothing Clinton's people do or did, would suprise me. They seem to have a protective shield around them!

Yes, the ABC reporter in the movie is the very real John Miller, who once co-hosted 20/20 with Barbara Walters before he got involved in antiterrorism work in Los Angeles. Before 20/20 he was a crime reporter. He wrote an excellent book about 9/11, The Cell, which is cited as being part of the basis for the ABC movie. He actually held the portrayed interview with Osama bin Laden, and was close to the men and women of the Anti-terrorism Task force in NYC.

Miller spoke with John O'Neill at ground zero just after the attack on the WTC. By then, O'Neill had been head of security for the WTC for about two weeks. O'Neill went back inside to try to save lives, and was killed in the collapse of the towers. Sorry if that's a spoiler for you. The movie is very true to the book, and the book is fact based. I highly recommend it.

Don't remind me. She's about to be elected to another six year term as NY carpetbagger.

Too close to the truth!! I'm gonna have nightmares. Obama would make Hillary untouchable.

I don't know why you say this, "Sorry if that's a spoiler for you." To me, what you say gives the movie even more authority.

It will be Obama/Hillary in '08, not the other way around. Obama is so liked by both sides, he will ask Hillary to run as VP for her "experience", women's vote, and cash-making machine. If he lives long enought to serve a full term is questionable.

And one more point, if Bill's mojo fades becuase of his failures on WOT, she could divorce him in a lame attempt to distance herself. He would no longer be useful.

Yes but if she did that it would not do anything for her political agenda. It would be so transparent.

I think we are going to much better than what it might look to the political pundits.

Bottom line is we have not been attacked since 9-11, and that is a very powerful statement that should resonate with the public. To bad for them, the Dems already jettisoned their only positive voice on that (unless they bring Lieberman back in).
