I will not be here for the first hour of tonights program. Thought I would put it up for those FReepers overseas that are viewing it now.
For those who wish to see the clips the Clinton lawyers complained about, Click here
This is where Massoud buys the farm.
who was that guy they wouldn't go to DCI?
Now we find Condi doing the right thing, while Tenet is still looking bad.
Clarke is arguing with Tenet.
Condi is with Clarke, against Tenet.
And these are all still clinton people except for Condi.
Now the sad day when the great Northern Alliance leader was assassinated. He would have been a great ally for us.
Why did they replace Clinton's grand jury testimony (showing he shot himself in the foot with those legal troubles/distractions) with the finger wag "did not have sexual relations" which sells the RAT propaganda that it was no one's business and all the fault of that crazy Ken Starr and the sex-obsessed Republicans in congress?
I call BS on that Clarke speech.
That was a principals meeting; he was NOT a principal.
I don't believe anything coming out of the mouth of character Clark...it sounds like he wrote these scenes,,,,he WORKS for ABC
OH MY GOODNESS!!
Richard Clarke, yelling at Rice and Tenet!!
Clarke in real life HAS to have financed this movie!! He is coming off as SUPERMAN!!
give me a friggin break!
does anyone know if our reporters/journalists were involved in knowing what was going on?
What is wrong with those people? The one poster has the flag upside down....the language is so crude.....they are such lowlifes....and hardly Patriotic. They are as bad as AlQueda! Unbelievable....
I wish this camera would sit still.
Just responding to the latest comment handy, by the way. I think we all are.
Wow, Tenet and CIA come across terrible. Clark could have written his part himself. Bush and Rice come across very well.
I agree; Clarke was pretty much out of the loop by then.
And we know that moderates never become radical, of course. /s
The lips moving didn't match "the wonderful press"... I think the actor originally said "the Washington Post" and it was changed.
Maybe the Post also joined in threatening ABC?
The Federal Budget is passed by the House of Representatives.
He is very handsome...
Knowing what we know now? Highly probable.
richard clark + Clark Kent?
I BET THIS IS WHERE THE nORTHERN GOOD GUY GETS IT.
And what he said he wanted to do was bomb the training camps, which wouldn't have stopped 9/11.
piece of ..... [excrement]
The masood guy is very reminiscent of omar sharif
Rush is right...Tenet has been thrown under the bus. Not a problem with me, he probably deserves it, but not on the word of Richard Clarke, and not without the company of Sandy Berger and Madeleine Albrigh
Yes - I think this is where he'll die.
"Piece Of Sh*t"
I can't watch. This is so sad.
ANYBODY GOT TIVO TO SEE IF "WONDERFUL PRESS"="WASHINGTON POST"
Well Well...someone who rants almost as well as me. Insert wink here.
All I have learned these past five years is that there are some people who just don't get it. There are many that do.
We've reached a point in this country where everything has to be videotaped, DNA'd, Audiorecorded, witnessed, signed and notorized before the obvious is accepted as truth.
This isn't how juries do business and everyday across this land juries, that's you and me and everyone who carries this countrie on his or her back, listen to the evidence, weigh all the facts then come back with a verdict. The perp, you understand, NEVER confesses. And yet we must decide guilt or innocence and act accordingly.
I must add that our own children challenge us everyday with their little lies and deceptions and yet, hey, we figure it out and we churn out the next generation and crop of soldiers I might state.
Yet we hear Saddam had no WMD's, he had nothing to do with Iraq, 911 was all Bush's fault, Monica was but a sexual dailliance, it goes on and on.
It's the middle class that runs this country, even the planet for God's sake. But the middle class has no cohesiveness, no access to ABC and CNN, we don't go out on the streets and riot as we all have jobs.
It takes a long time to move this country's middle class and we are now at a time when the middle class is waking up, yawning, and paying attention. The 911 attacks began it but to my surprise as well as yours, there are still people who want power and the citizens be damned, there are dictators and despots who like their oil wealth and there's Kofi Annan with a fleet of Mercedes Benz. It's all a joke almost and it gets old.
All that being said, I like Bush's speech tonight. He did a great job pronunciating (if that's a word) the words and the context of what he said was serious and true. We need leaders to lead and even they are slow to do so. We do have free elections in this country and the ersatz leaders are zero good unless they get elected.
Soooooo....it's all about time. Time for the American citizenry to vote and elections are years apart. Those that had power don't want to let go so average Americans are bombarded with lies. We have to carry this country on our backs out here in la-la land and that means soccer practice and jobs and living a life.
Okay, the above was not a rant but a pretty good attempt to get a mental handle on things, I say so modestly.
I love to rant. But I gotta be in a mood. Kinda like sex.
Why haven't we sent Clarke over to Iraq? Evidently he can stop bullets with his bare chest and catch missiles with his teeth!! I had NO idea..
He seemed a little suspicious. I'll take it this is where they take a little fictional license as to how it goes down.
yea, he is!!
need to watch the credits & see who he is..
who is the general?
general __________ of Afghanstan?
Please post a few of your televised speeches so that we can make some comparisons.
"Clintoon Lawyers went after ABC again today after seeing last nights episode" - no doubt they did. But the DNC talking points promoted on nightline last night that this program is purely "made up" with no resemblance to truth were on the lips of a liberal friend at work today.....she absolutely despised last night's episode. I told her - stay tuned - they will try to trash President Bush tonight - but guess what - he is not whining about any "lies" that might show up tonight. (So far how are the truths doing in showing up on tonight's version?)
I thought maybe AZ . ooh, this is getting bad - the faux film crew with Mahsoud
Who will be dead in a minute.
No...compressed doesn't mean edited...Cyrus said it was pointless in a movie to show the same thing 8 times. So they made ONE SCENE to show the facts of the multiple times that Clintoon wouldn't talk to Berger.
Clintoon was watching a golf tourney one time and refused to answer the phone!! The military attache was right there...I wish I could remember his name...
Al Quada looks like the real "Old Boys Club" that nags are always talking about!:)
Anyone know how many people are watching this show?
WOW. (Re: Explosion)
Mylife will pay.
You preferred old Slick, perhaps?
How about just hiring actors to be president, instead of electing someone as good as this president is? /s
AW.....I liked that guy....
Correction, Tenet, a Clinton holdover, just got it for being "passive-aggressive", and telling Rice that the Predator/Hellfire combo wasn't ready to assassinate anyone. I suspect it worked fine by that time.
Who was that they just killed?
Yes! It is a bit of an irony, I suppose.
Oh yes, he is. I wonder what the name of the actor is. . .
