She then said that radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam. What's even worse is that the audience heartily applauded that statement.

Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America.
You have to admit she has a point. All those Christians walking into mosques and detonating bombs strap to their backs is out of control. ;o)

Huh, who would have thought? Radical Christianity? You mean like adhering resolutely, unequivically, and steadfastly to the first and second commandment with no alternative??
First Commandment: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.
Second Commandment: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Yeah, dude, that IS radical!!

The article says -- "In a discussion of the events of September 11, 2001, ODonnell acknowledged that Islamic terrorists killed close to 3,000 innocent people. She then said that radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam."
I said this earlier, on another thread --
Yeah, even here on this FreeRepublic forum, so-called "radical Christians" are feared and are treated as the "enemy".
"Radical Christian" is a code phrase meaning someone who actually believes that there is a God, that God reveals Himself in the Bible, that Jesus Christ is the one way to the Father (as Jesus said, Himself) and that God will do what He says He will do.
In short -- a "Radical Christian" is someone who actually believes the Bible.
That, is apparently, to be feared by all sorts of people, worldwide and in this country. It's so feared that you're hard pressed to find anyone in the Democrat Party who will admit to believing the Bible is true and should be listened to and followed (by means of the Salvation offered by Jesus Christ). The ACLU will fight all day long to keep that message locked up behind closed doors, given out only on Sundays and Wednesdays. Atheists and Agnostics will scream that they are being "imposed" upon, if anything "righteous" is made into law. Politicians prefer to have prayers to Allah, than to have anything mentioning Jesus Christ. They'll support Islam in the United States before they'll support Christianity.
Is there any question as to where this country is headed?
I just got through talking with someone (in a very long thread) how Christians are "anethema" to the Constitution of the United States (if they *really believe* the Bible). And they are *more concerned* about Christians than radical and fascist Muslims.
Quite amazing, actually -- to hear it here, on FreeRepublic.

Sounds like sour grapes over the fact that both religious beliefs frown on homosexuality

Let me point out....
A. It was an audience of a day time talk show?
B. What do we care about viewers of day time talk shows?
C. What do we care about people that would take their time to be an Audience of a day time talk show?
D. It was an audience at a womens day time talk show
E. All this adds up to an audience ( Live and at home) with a lower IQ than an canned ham.

Since the Freepers were so successful in their boycotts of the Ditsy Chicks (as mentioned in a previous thread); why not boycott the View...Of course, that would have to mean that we watched it before...

She'll soon be taking her poison over to radio when she joins two other geniuses, Hanoi and Steimen, for a talk radio show. It'll no doubt be praised as "edgy" and "provocative," right before it turns into outright whoring for the DNC leading up to the November elections. One more failure for the great white lesbian whale.

You said -- "What's even worse is that the audience heartily applauded that statement."
And what's even more worse, is to see that very same thing on FreeRepublic.

Radical liberalism has killed more people in the last 40 years in the US alone, then religion has in the entire history of the planet.
Abortion has killed 45m babies in the US alone. Who knows how many overseas.
If some religious war has killed that many, I've never heard of it.

The irony is that should the islomofacists win she would be among the first to lead to the slaughter house, along with the other Hollywood Liberals. The Christians would probably be tolerated, though 2nd class, while the Atheists & Liberals would be dead.
