I haven't seen the video. Could you describe what you saw?

Black thing going along parallel to the shuttle.

NASA just said something shook loose off the shuttle, and they need to find out what it was, whether it was important or not. Jeez, where are the new space vehicles?

The program mgr. thinks it may be something off the shuttle. They are thinking about getting the arm out to look around the ship.

It is a smaller black looking object that is flying along with the shuttle, but is really to far away to make out.

It is about the size of the decimal point on the FOX news ticker when you watch the video on FOX (this will tell how tiny it is on the TV). It is pretty far away and that is why no one can make out what it is. Since it so far away and still showing up on the video then it is a fairly large object. It is traveling fast.

It seemed to be a black object. The NASA spokesman said they had no way to figure out how large it is since there is nothing in space to compare it too. I thought I heard something about it being something off of a camera. The shuttle's camera was tracking it to see where it goes and to see if they can identify it. This is all from the NASA TV station which we get.

this is the best I could do - it is a tiny speck in the middle of large white dot. As you can see it about the size of the decimal point on the news ticker.
