O'Reilly had both Carville and Begala on his show, told them both "You're stupid" and that they should stay away from the far Left Kool-Aid drinker websites.

The flustured one in that interview was Wallace, who lost his wits and was completely intimidated -- ordinarily he would have been sharp enough to have countered with at least some effective follow-up questions to Clinton's many lies, but he was unable to.

I don't think it was that Chris isn't sharp, I think he was showing proper deference to a man who, despite the fact that he is total scum, was President of the United States for eight years (eight long, long years!).

Yeah...I can only imagine how the mediacrats would've reacted to someone like Rove saying "Pat Fitzgerald is one-step away from having no kneecaps." Only Democrats could start an investigation against the investigator for alleged leaks, as they sit idly by watching our national security intel end up on the front pages of the NY Times. It's always nice to see were their priorities lie...and whom they consider the real enemies.

Chris is ordinarily very sharp and IMO a very good reporter.

But that shock and deference is exactly what Clinton intended by his aggressiveness, to put the questioner off balance and let Clinton unload a pack of unchallenged lies. It's the "feigned indignation" that Dick Morris talked about.

Mary Matalin said the same thing the other night, that Clinton does this kind of thing on purpose (but I do think he got carried away more than he intended).

I give credit to Wallace for his self-restraint, when Clinton started tapping his bony finger on Wallace's notes I don't know how he managed to keep from breaking it off and giving Clinton a new suppository.

I go back to watching the news being spewed out about the Vietnam War. They loved talking about the horrors of the soldier's battles and showing the all those photos....I could'nt stand it then any more than now.
