May God bless Helen and her family.

Awful news. Just heard about this on Fox News.
She was one of my all-time favorites.

Helen had more class in her little finger than a thousand of her critics put together.

Sad news, especially since folks around Orofino are also grieving over the death Sunday of the grandaughter of the Clearwater Co. Central Committee Chairman.

We sure could have benefitted from her having been a Californian. We got an invite to her wedding to Wayne and should have gone. What a wonderful human being. I admired her second only to Maggie Thatcher!!!
In just a few short years we lost some great leaders of the "Sage Brush Rebellion!" First Nye County Commissioner Dick Carver. Then Wayne Hage lost his wife to cancer, followed by Wayne himself in June. Now this...

"Religion is the last refuge of a scoundrel."If you'll be honest and think about it, innate in the nature of humans since the beginning of time is the compelling need to take comfort in the perception of a being, or force far more powerful than themselves.
I'm no bible thumper, but the people in churches are ALL sinners seeking redemption and forgiveness, be they whores, politicians and yes... even religious clerics, my FRiend. So don't try to play God and make judgements about our wonderful, patriotic, God fearing friend, Helen Chenoweth-Hage!!!
Save that for the real habitually criminal prigs in our society, PLEASE!!!

Where once two peerless patriots lived, we mourn, but Heaven rejoices, for these are two of God's most special children, together again, never to be parted. "Once upon a time, the world was sweeter than we knew; everything was ours, how happy we were then..." - from the song Once Upon A Time, words by Lee Adams; music by Charles Strouse. Helen was a dear, dear friend, as was Wayne. The torches they carried are now carried on by those of us still here. We will not let them down!

I'm betting despite a fleeting where's my seatbelt thought, there was a whole lot of baby protection going on. I'd also like to know the driving experience of someone named Yelena. Obviously at 24, not enough, not that it matters now, but just for the info.

God bless this champion of liberty. She will be sorely missed.

from Idaho Statesman...
The other occupants daughter-in-law Yelena Hage, 24, and 5-month-old grandson, Bryan Hage also were ejected but were not seriously injured. Gonzalez said Chenoweth-Hage, 68, was holding the baby and wasnt wearing a seatbelt.
Not too bright!

It just shows who he comes from.
I heard so many comments about how Bill Sali must carry on.
Remember it was the Spirit of God that Helen had that inspired so many. We have that same Spirit.
I have so many precious memories of Helen and I going down the highway praying for Gods inspiration as she traveled to give another speech after another. She would be so worn out from campaigning, but relied on the Lord
Once she lost her written speech just before she got up in front of a huge croud at a football game. She gave the most inspirational speech I ever heard her give. The people there loved her so much.

Without a doubt Helen was one of the finest ladies I ever met. She was right up at the top of the group. Strongly patriotic, loving, caring and concerned about darn near everyone. A great friend is gone.
