The Corner is reporting that John Kerry will hold a news conference at 2PM to discuss his recent comment.
Anyone heard even one single 'Rat call Kerry on his comment?

First time to see that video. One has to see it to believe he actually said those words and I saw no joking in those words at all. Unbelievable and really pissed off now. Has the 3 networks played the actual video?

During last year's presidential campaign, John F. Kerry was the candidate often portrayed as intellectual and complex, while George W. Bush was the populist who mangled his sentences.
But newly released records show that Bush and Kerry had a virtually identical grade average at Yale University four decades ago.

He asked for a further student deferment to study in Paris, but it was denied. He then joined the Navy, and was trained on a boat type that was later given an assignment in Vietnam. But, three quick Purple Hearts and he was out of there.
He didn't have a politically acceptable choice that would have allowed him to escape service because the Draft was in effect at the time, which is no longer the case. Now you only go into the military by choice, or as Kerry would say "due to a lack of smarts".

If he is....he should have to step down...he obviously does NOT have the respect necessary for the Armed Forces to be fair.

I think they should send in the TROOPS! That man has a whippin' comin', and I can't think of anyone who can get the job done better than the troops.
Just called Durbin's office and politely told them I had been undecided on the open Senate race in my state but, given Senator Kerry's remarks trashing our military in Iraq, that I would be voting straight Republican next week. I asked the receptionist to please convey my message to her boss, the Senate Minority Whip.
