President Carter was in office for the entire year of 1980. Reagan wasn't sworn in until late January of 1981.

So all of this happened while the Carter administration was running our foreign policy

Kennedy, and other senators, may have violated the Logan Act, which has been on the books since 1799, but is rarely enforced. The law prohibits American citizens from engaging in private diplomacy with a foreign government with the intention of influencing public policy.

But this provides the underpinning of a meeting I infiltrated as an investigative reporter for a statewide paper in the spring of '82.

Kennedy had lost the primary to Carter - and next, Reagan came on the scene.

Kennedy was the (tarnished) Knight of the American Socialist Party - who were posed to come out in the open once they got him in the Oval Office.

However, with these hopes dealt a major blow when Kennedy couldn't even get the party nomination, they regrouped to plan recoup strategy.

In the spring of 82, they organized DSOC (Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee) meetings across he country.

In Maine, this meeting was literally in the shadow of our capitol dome - "NO PRESS allowed!"

So I got 'grunged up" and infiltrated the meeting with a voice activated recorder in my pocket.

Their main speaker was our State Senate Majority leader who, taking a card from his pocket, opened with: "I, like you, am a card carrying socialist" - and went on to lament Kennedy's defeat meant they couldn't come out in the open and their new strategy would be to totally infiltrate, on every level (from town committees and government on up) the democratic party and succeed in their socialist takeover from there.

That was 24 years ago. They have been successful in taking over the party. That is obvious. What is not obvious to me is why we are not calling them what they are - "Zel, this is where your party has gone."

Now with these revelations about Kennedy's treasonous actions - we have a chance to get it in the open for the sheeple to see and understand.

The formula the media outlets go by: if they receive 40-45 emails on any one subject, they will pick it up and run with it. If we could get them to pick this up and get it started by tonight or tomorrow at the latest - it could wake up a lot of voters.

Yes, even a weasel like Jimmy Peanut was not left enough for Teddy, not subservient enough to the interests of the USSR. Other articles have been coming out discussing how Teddy the Swimmer was still pursuing his illegal subversion of US foreign policy in 1983 when Kennedy was leading the "nuclear freeze" movement against Reagan.

It is ILLEGAL as well as unethical and despicable for any US citizen to secretly conspire with a foreign power to influence US politics or foreign policy. Teddy should be in jail.

I too noted Kennedy undertook this path while Carter was president. That may well be the key to bringing this to the Senate floor. It demonstrates a divide within the Democratic Party that probably lingers even now. There must certainly be Democratic senators that would like to see Kennedy removed so they can assume his position of leadership. Would be a good time for Republican senators to sow the seeds of discontent within the Democratic ranks of senators.

And TeddyBoy was the family friend and mentor of sKerry from his teens. Just where and how do you think the poodle was able in 1971, as a young, snot nosed (somethings people don't grow out of,) nobody, was able to make connections with the Viet Cog leaders with whom he met 3 x's in Paris?
