I just counted the key races listed at CNN.com, raw vote numbers on them. I get 8 pickups for the Dems with 5 more too close to call, and a dozen to go in the west for which there are no returns yet. On that basis I predict it will go down to the wire whether they take the house. No big wave of 30+ net Dem seats in the house. The senate is out of reach, with the Republicans holding VA and TN and possibly taking MD.
