Not for sure, but I don't think they have.

Shep Smith is near orgasmic.

OBL has won, who would have imagined that the MSM/DNC would succeed in giving Saddam and Sons, OBL, Bill Maher, Keith Olberman, and John Kerry a victory.

We have no choice now, the commie vampire media must be destroyed.

relentless media bashing is why we lost-the old media were a cornered rat-they bashed 24 hours a day and lied-whether it was on the radio or tv-their tactics worked

Tonight is a total mess, but.....

I believe that Guiliani with a southern republican running as his VP will absolutely hammer any democrat nominee, including her royal henious. Guiliani would guarantee New York and it would be game, set, match republican takes the white house.
And there will be a good chance to regain the house and senate in 2008 as well.
I'm going to keep my chin up and my head in the game.
All is not lost.

Exactly. The DUers go off about "getting ill" and "wanting to vomit" over President Bush's win -- just take this in a stride.

This too shall pass. Republicans will hold the House and Senate again, and fairly soon too (2008) if I"m not mistaken.

I hope that every American and freedom-loving human is aware that this Dem victory means that NO ONE will stop Iran. They will get their Nukes. The will of the American People has been broken. I wonder how long it will be until we retreat from Iraq and leave the field for Islamofascism...

These are truly sad and depressing days...

When we take back power in 2008 we must pe prepared to fight double as hard and painful as today, if necessairy even against nuclear armed terrorists. Our very survival is at stake and it doesn't look well for us.

God bless America and it's few true allies!

No we gave them higher taxes and cut and run because we could not run a decent campaign. There not going to just check the R because we tell them to or because we wave a pelosi puppet and go BOO! We were weak talking up the economy and barely mentioned taxes.

" The media orchestrated this mess. "

Harry Truman said the same thing in '46....

And I will never believe that we lost by such large numbers due just to the GOP missteps. The media orchestrated this mess. Their unbalanced reporting was the major culprit.

Yup. Even with Rush, Hannity and all the other conservative talk radio hosts and the internet out there, America takes the lazy way out and allows "news" to be spoon-fed to them by the likes of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, NY Times, USA Today, Time, Newsweak, etc.

And here we are.

Not all. Jasper County that includes Joplin, heavily Republican, is yet to be counted.

I don't think there are enough votes there to make up the difference, though.

Something tells me there is a silver lining in this cloud as well. :)

Care to share what it is, cause my grandchildren will suffer due to the dems, my sons are working hard to make ends meet right now, what will they do after all the tax cuts & tax increases?

"Now, we all need to try and find a way to make this work for our future benefit."

The Republican politicians in the house and senate getting back to governing as true limited government conservatives would be a damn good start!

CLAY--about 50/50, population 180k
JASPER---very heavy republican--maybe 70/30 population 100k
PEMISCOT--slight dem, population 20k
POLK--heavy republican 65/35, 25k

Would be my guess.

If you run those numbers (which may not be accurate, assuming that 25% are voters you get a pick up of about 14k votes --very very rough.
