When was Putin the head of the KGB?

This is a really amazing article coming from a very mainstream person. A certain rubicon has been crossed.

Bunch of turd from Cap if you ask me. He writes like the oligarchs were honest businessmen. What a laugh.
No matter how much I may dislike Putin, I would never shill for the oligarchs. Even Gorby thought they were disgusting.

Former agent Litvinenko was far from a saint himself, however, and British authorities have not ruled out completely the fact that the agent may have committed suicide in this bizarre manner just to bring increased attention and hostility down upon the Kremlin. Uh, no. One does not just go down to the corner drug store to buy a bottle of Po-210.

These oligarchs, disgusting as they might be, is the best that was there. [i.e. the rest is even worse]. What would have been the chances of staffing the whole ruling elite with the late Politkovskaya [or equally late Sakharov] human type?- zilch, albeit in theory such an outcome would be far preferable. And the oligarchs came close to power.

Politkovskaya was a pro-terrorist sympathizer against her own people. She even took their side when they pulled off their terroist act at the Dubrovka theater. She allowed herself to be a mouthpiece for their propaganda and as a result many more people died then otherwise would have. She is as human as her fellow traveler Ward Churchill. Very few tears were shed in Russia for Basayev's chief propagandist.

Bunch of smack spewing from you.

I see that you did not ponder enough on the words "the rest is even worse". These words pertained precisely to those with "very few tears". Whatever crap happens to them, serves them right.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You know nothing about Russia.

This murder was a message. It reads as surely as he had left a signed note:
To all who would cross me,
Don't do it. Don't even think it. If you do, you'll die slowly and painfully, too.
Love, Vlad.

As our famous leader Ronald Reagan said of the USSR/Russia:
ITS The EVIL EMPIRE!!One need to look in the Bible (Ezekiel 39 & 39) and see that God himself is against Russia (GOG & MAGOG) and will make an example of them in the near future.

And to boot, even if one gets it, one does not just carry it in a vial, pour it on some guy's food, and hope it works. One would have to design a simple but somewhat difficult to manufacture delivery system, for example, a microcaplet with an engineered dose. I picture something like the "SHMERSH" version of "Q" - and as much as that alludes to a fanciful thing, nonetheless, some sort of lab, perhaps like one set up by the SVR, would have been needed.

Ultimately, many of us may be marked, especially those of us who are not shills for the Kremlin (unlike the ever present Putin cheerleading squad who annoy us here ...).

Love, Vlad. And now the report that a radiation trail all the way back to Moscow has been discovered on 2 British Airways airliners. Perhaps sloppy work or perhaps more similar to what you imply. A deliberate warning. Vlad no longer seems worried about his public persona. If it was a deliberate warning, it means that the next games kickoff is perhaps right around the corner.
To: justa-hairyape
Vlad read Mafia history. The rad trail wasn't sloppiness. Putin can't be touched and knows it. Never handicap yourself by underestimating an actual or potential enemy's viciousness or intelligence.

The rad trail wasn't sloppiness. That I can understand as a theory, but I do not quite see the practicality of its application. To illustrate - Putin wants to warn critics that they need to back off. Fine. But in doing so he has actually enhanced the criticism itself tremendously. So what was the real payoff in practical terms ? There seems to be some other message here. Not to critics or reporters because he is as you stated 'untouchable' by them.
To: justa-hairyape
The message is "Run and you die tired." Remember he doesn't have to silence one way or another all his critics, just the ones who know something from their own experience.
The criticism hasn't been exactly deafening. Most of what I've seen has been reporting Putin's denials.
