This aerial view shows the layout of the largest concentration camp and death camp run by Nazi Germany during World War II at Auschwitz near the Polish town of Oswiecim, Poland, Aug. 25, 1944. Auschwitz is the main camp and Birkenau is the nearby extermination center. (AP Photo)

U.S. Holocaust Museum (encyclopedia of camps): http://www.ushmm.org/research/center/encyclopedia/
Steven Katz , director of the Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies at Boston University who is not connected with the project, said the encyclopedia will be "enormously useful." Though it will have few surprises for scholars, others using it as a reference tool "will be astonished at the scope of the Nazi enterprise" and the collusion of German industry, he said.
Second Amendment bump.
But of course, nobody knew about it
And those who served in the camps were "just following orders".
As much as I hate to recommend PBS productions...
I HIGHLY recommend the following offering:
Auschwitz: Inside The Nazi State

It was a well-done production, with interweaving of excellent time-period
re-enactments and interviews with survivors.
About the only negative are some guests of the discussion panels and
the moderator Linda Ellerbee.
Also, if you see the show, don't have a heart attack about the former SS
guard Oskar Gruning. He's a disgusting piece of work, but watch the whole
show before passing final judgement.
Well... but Ahamdinejad says it didn't happen all...
So I guess they are all exonerated./s

I saw that special, it was well done. It offered some interesting insights into the behind the scenes affairs that went on there and included historical records and such ,, I agree that they could have done without the panel,,
Interesting. Are men really surprised that evil can be so well organized? That it can have the support of "industry" {big media, big business}?
Or is the concept to uncomfortable or frightening to face?
The Ahnenerbe were one such Nazi group who made frequent trips to Antarctica in search of who knows what. The book entitled Spear of Destiny by Ravenscroft (1973) is a chilling and nauseating picture of the mescalin drug induced paranoid delusions of occult groups like the Thule Society. The groups all looked for a German messaiah to lead Germans to world rule. They KNEW that Hitler was the messiah for them.
Hitler also liked the Moslems since they alone had nearly beaten Christianity to a pulp years earlier. Hitler despised Karl Martel, considered Christianity to be the end result of Judaism and the downfall of mankind. (Ravenscroft - The Spear of Destiny)

Ah yes, the Due Obedience defense.
Everyone else was just crazy.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
These photos are so compelling. This is why the Israelis should take a deep breath, and put out compelling photos with indepth stories of the atrocities committed by muslims.
