Cuban leader Fidel Castro has long prided himself on Cuba's doctors and free public health care system, but that system seems to have let him down . . .
Delicious irony.

Coming soon to a surgery near you...if the dems have their way. We gave you health care and you are not to complain if it's not up to par.

if castro would have allowed his people to have a normal unsocialistic life maybe he would have had successful surgery the 1st time. Karma is a bitch!

Castro had received questionable or even botched care... Good thing they have that universal health care.
Too bad they didn't send him to Miami for surgery," said Dr. Charles Gerson.
Considering there are many Cuban with a grudge, I think the outcome would have been the same, he just would be in more agony.

It seems like this was more poor judgement than anything.
If he was just a regular guy, they would have given him a colostomy bag and everything would have been fine. But they tried to do something special for their great leader.

This is the health care system liberals have been praising to the heavens for decades now and it couldn't even save

Not in a few years after socialized medicine is brought to US by the liberal Democratic party.

"It's not a good story. Too bad they didn't send him to Miami for surgery," said Dr. Charles Gerson, a clinical professor of medicine in the gastroenterology division of New York's Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.LOL!!!
While I have no doubt medical professionals in Miami are capable of bringing him back to health, I'm going to guess that quite a few of them would have been sorely tempted to botch some surgery on purpose.
To: Huntress
Well, that's for posting this "good news" story. It warms my heart.

Article is confusing, first ops were in Cuba but the last three were done recently in Spain, where he is still hospitalized I believe.

Cartoon idea: Castro asking surgeon, "Are you a Republican?"
To: Huntress
"Delicious irony."
Perhaps, but these pontificating doctors have no real knowledge of his condition either. He may have been beyond help anyway.
