My aunt and uncle sent this out to our family at 6:30 AM today. Carrie is my young cousin, a very gifted artist, and the second eldest among her siblings. She and her family are in Michigan.
Prayer reqeust from my aunt and uncle (Carrie is their granddaughter).
This morning on her way to work Carrie's car slid on the highway and into a tree. She has very bad injuries, especially to her head. Her brain is swelling and she is now in surgery. They plan to open her skull to allow for the swelling, and she is not responding. They don't give her parents a lot of hope. We are telling everyone so you can join us in praying for our dear Caroline. They called her parents about 7:45 this morning and they're at the hospital now.
Thanks for the tip/s, etc. I’ve run all my anti-virus and anti-spyware / malware / adware programs and none yields anything that would cause this; I do keep getting disk error / potentially corrupted disk messages when it crashes. It’s the enormous hang time and crashes that are so frustrating.
Just FYI the free products I use:
AVG anti-virus; Ad-Aware; Spybot Search and Destroy; Spyware blaster; CC Cleaner
Purchased:
Spyware Doctor; XoftSpy
Can’t remember if $ or no: Windows Registry Cleaner

Prayers of praise, comfort, and healing continue. A happy and blessed Easter to you and your family.
Prayers for Carrie & family ~P~
PRAYERS!!!!
This morning when I awakened
And saw the sun above
I softly said, “Good Morning, Lord,
Bless everyone I love!”
Right away I thought of you
and said a loving prayer
That He would bless you specially
and keep you free from care!
I thought of all the happiness
a day could hold in store:
I wished it all for you because
No one deserves it more!
I felt so warm and good inside
My heart was all aglow -
I know God heard my prayer for you
He hears them all you know!
Just to let you know I will be thinking of you and the family.
prayers continue.
How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand;
When I awake I am still with Thee. - Psalm 139:17-18
Said I not unto thee that if thou wouldest believe,
thou shouldest see the glory of God? - John 11:40
Thank you, buck61.

In the name of Christ Jesus, Risen Son of Almight God, we pray for particular blessings for Carrie, her loving family, and all those who take care of her; and we pray for her recovery and return to full health.
Continued prayers also from snowy Northern Michigan. Happy Easter to Carrie and her family!
I am still Praying for Carrie’s full recovery.
Just checking in to see how Carrie’s doing. I’m still praying for her recovery.
I was just thinking, and I’m not very articulate so I’ll do the best I can here to explain it, of how the Lord has used Carrie’s life to show His glory. Thru this tragic circumstance, perfect strangers are showing their love for Carrie, and are growing in the Lord, growing in faith and in hope, and growing closer to each other. What blessings have come out of this bad situation. She didn’t know it, but Carrie had a calling - as did her wonderful family.
This made me think of Romans 8, specifically verses 28-39:
” 28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us allhow will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who diedmore than that, who was raised to lifeis at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
By the way, Gretchen, I hope & pray that your computer shapes up soon!
My PC goes to the shop Wednesday. It’s usually there a week before I see it again.
Please pray for the fix-it process.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and thanksgiving to God for what He is doing to heal Carrie. I’m looking forward to having a healthy PC so I can tell you what’s happening with her and her family.
Know that we’ll continue to pray and that you will be sorely missed!!!!
Continued prayers for Carrie. You should go to the library, and then you can still access FR.
I look forward to the next Carrie update. She and her family remain in my prayers.
Prayers will continue, Gretchen.
We've been missing you around here, G! Hope your PC isn't in the shop too long.
In the meantime, take care. We'll be praying for you as well.
Prayers continue
