My aunt and uncle sent this out to our family at 6:30 AM today. Carrie is my young cousin, a very gifted artist, and the second eldest among her siblings. She and her family are in Michigan.
Prayer reqeust from my aunt and uncle (Carrie is their granddaughter).
This morning on her way to work Carrie's car slid on the highway and into a tree. She has very bad injuries, especially to her head. Her brain is swelling and she is now in surgery. They plan to open her skull to allow for the swelling, and she is not responding.They don't give her parents a lot of hope. We are telling everyone so you can join us in praying for our dear Caroline. They called her parents about 7:45 this morning and they're at the hospital now.
Amen twin2. Now more than ever we will continue to intercede for Carrie. I just learned of the homegoing of our dear GretchenM!! I am still in a state of shock. I really hope that there are those who knew Gretchen and Carrie, will continue to give us some updates as we pray and hold Carrie up before the Lord. Until then, I believe it would be appropriate to post Prayers and keep the thread going. Surely there is someone who can give us more info on Carrie as she progresses.
May the Peace Of Christ rest upon Gretchen’s Family.

Thanks for posting the link for all on the thread. I should’ve done that, but wasn’t thinking, just in kind of in shock over GretchenM’s sudden passing.
So many here knew her better than I, who had only followed on Carrie’s thread, so I only posted a prayer bump here.

Father God,
I come into Your presence right now, lifting Carrie before you. There are so many here Lord who love Carrie, and our hearts desire is that she will be completely restored to health. Lord this family has suffered so this past year, and with You calling dear Gretchen home, they are grieving all the more. Grant healing , if this is Your will, to dear Carrie. May she once again be alert, able to speak and walk and Praise Your Name . We thank You and Praise You for answered prayer.
